WEEKEND PACKAGE. 12.1 A Weekend Package Nurse is a Nurse who is regularly scheduled to work 24 hours per weekend (48 hours per pay period). A Weekend Package Plus Nurse is a Nurse who is regularly scheduled to work twenty-four (24) hours per weekend or forty- eight (48) hours per pay period plus sixteen (16) or more hours per pay period weekdays for a total of sixty-four (64) hours or more per pay period.

WEEKEND PACKAGE. Weekend Package Plus Nurses who work shifts during the week are paid at the Nurse’s Base Rate plus other pay set forth in Section 12.7. Weekend Package/Weekend Package Plus Nurses who work extra weekend shifts are paid Weekend Package Pay for the extra shifts.
WEEKEND PACKAGE. 7.1 Each Nursing Director will determine the number of positions allocated to the weekend package based on the unit's needs.

  • Paid Holidays – Long Weekends (a) When an employee is scheduled to work a weekend where a paid holiday falls on the Monday or the Friday, the Employer shall endeavour to also schedule the employee to work the paid holiday.

  • Weekends Holidays that fall on weekends will be observed on a day established by the School District.

  • Weekend Work (a) Overtime work on Saturday shall be paid for at the rate of time and a half (1.5) for the first two (2) hours and double time thereafter, provided that all overtime worked after 12 noon on Saturday shall be paid for at the rate of double time.

  • Weekend Holidays 9.3.1. A full-time employee who works a Monday through Friday schedule and the calendar holiday falls on a Saturday, the employee shall be allowed the preceding day off. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the employee shall be allowed the following day off. If the employee works the day preceding or following such a holiday, he/she shall be given another workday off with pay or shall receive payment for that day at the regular rate.

  • Weekend Scheduling It is the policy of the Employer to schedule those nurses who so desire every other weekend off, with the exception of those nurses who have signed an authorization to work consecutive weekends. Nurses who have volunteered to work consecutive weekends may withdraw such authorization upon two (2) weeks’ written notice prior to the date a new schedule must be posted.

  • Weekend Premiums An employee shall be paid a weekend premium of two dollars ($2.00) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday.

  • Weekdays All work performed outside of the designated shift Monday through Friday shall be paid at time and one-half (1-1/2) the straight-time hourly wage rate.

  • Weekend Premium Pay Any nurse who works on a weekend shall receive four dollars ($4.00) per hour premium pay for each hour worked on the weekend in addition to the nurse’s regular rate of pay. Weekend premium pay shall not be included in the nurse’s regular rate of pay for overtime pay calculations, unless required by the Fair Labor Standards Act. The weekend shall be defined as all hours between 11:00 p.m. Friday and 11:00 p. m. Sunday.

  • Weekend Premium Effective July 1, 2020, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and ten cents ($1.10) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision.

  • Saturdays, Sundays, Holidays, etc If the last or appointed day for the taking of any action or the expiration of any right required or granted herein shall not be a Business Day, then such action may be taken or such right may be exercised on the next succeeding Business Day.
