Weekend Shifts Sample Clauses

Weekend Shifts. (a) Effective September 1, 2008 any shifts scheduled on weekends after 12 midnight on Friday and before 12 midnight on Sunday, shall be compensated for at the rate of 64¢ per hour, in addition to shift bonus as covered by Article VII, 7.03 and 7.04.
Weekend Shifts. All employees required to work a twelve (12) hour work day weekend shift Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, will be paid at their current classification and receive a shift adjustment to the equivalent of forty (40) hours.
Weekend Shifts. Per diem nurses shall be required to work a minimum of six (6) weekend shifts per calendar quarter as part of their 18 credits. This requirement is not applicable to those nurses in nursing units that do not routinely require scheduled weekend work. It shall be prorated in those nursing units that require partial or occasional weekend work. Per diem nurses who work in units that do not routinely require scheduled weekend work may be required to work a minimum of six (6) Monday or Friday shifts per calendar quarter. Weekend shifts shall consist of a combination of Saturday and Sunday shifts (for the third shift, either Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday shifts).
Weekend Shifts. The normal workweek for unit members shall be Monday through Friday. Premium pay of $75 per month shall be paid any worker whose regular workweek assignment falls outside of the normal workweek; and who performs his or her duties outside of the normal workweek without regular supervision; and who performs his or her duties outside of the normal workweek without regular staff support.
Weekend Shifts. The Company and the Union have agreed on the structure and benefits pertaining to any formally arranged weekend shifts. Hours of work and other arrangements are as reproduced in “Appendix C” appended hereto.
Weekend Shifts. Where the majority of the shift is worked between midnight on Friday and midnight on Saturday payment of time and a half will apply. Where the majority of the shift is worked between midnight on Saturday and midnight on Sunday payment of time and three quarters will apply. Where an Associate required to work on weekends is in receipt of a shift allowance the weekend penalty rate specified above will be paid on the shift rate. A maximum ordinary shift of 12 hours may be worked by mutual agreement with individual Associates subject to the provisions of Section 11a.
Weekend Shifts. When workload demands are such that a normal work week cannot accommodate production requirements, the Company may, at its option hire employees, either plant wide or by specific departments for Saturdays or Sundays to establish weekend shifts to meet production requirements. Employees hired for the weekend shift (s) would take precedence in working weekend work over overtime offered to regular employees who are subject to article 3:04A, for Saturday and Sunday work only. If any of the weekend employees were on occasion offered work Monday through Friday, it would be on a fill-in basis and would not displace any regular employee.
Weekend Shifts. Weekend shifts shall be defined as those shifts in which the major portion of the shift is worked on Saturday or Sunday. Employees working a weekend shift shall receive two dollars ($2.00) per hour for hours worked on Saturday or Sunday.
Weekend Shifts. 15.2.2.1. Definition of Weekend for Purpose of Working Shifts to Meet Weekend Work Obligation. A weekend shift is defined as 12:01 am Saturday through 11:59 pm Sunday. Weekend hours include all hours worked between the shift change time closest to 11:00 pm Friday and the shift change closest to 8:00 am Monday. Only two shifts per weekend are eligible for weekend differential. For all employees required to work two shifts every other weekend, the definition of the weekend requirement which meets the definition of the weekend as defined above will be specific to the unit assigned.
