Training, Awareness, and Competence. The EMS shall establish procedures to ensure that all Covered Personnel have been trained and are capable of carrying out their responsibilities under this ECP and the EMS. In particular, the training should highlight means to enhance the ability of such personnel to ensure compliance with environmental requirements and voluntary undertakings, the requirements of this ECP and other Marine Environmental Protection Requirements. In addition, the EMS shall provide for the proper briefing and supervision of vendors, technicians, and other non-crewmembers whose job responsibilities could affect the ability of the Covered Vessels to comply with this ECP and achieve the EMS objectives and targets.

Training, Awareness, and Competence. Pursuant to Norsk Hydro’s Training, Awareness, and Competence Global Procedure, attached hereto as Attachment 28, no later than July 7, 2024, Hydro USA shall develop, implement, and maintain a process or procedure designed to ensure that all Employees with roles within the HSE management system have the required competencies to effectively perform the requirements of their roles. Hydro shall provide the process or procedure document to the EPA Authorized Representative and Independent Monitor as an attachment to the Annual Report covering the period during which the process or procedure is implemented.

  • Leave of Absence for Employees Who Serve as Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association An employee who serves as Local Coordinator for the Ontario Nurses' Association shall be granted leave of absence without pay up to a total of thirty-five (35) days annually. Leave of absence for Local Coordinators for the Ontario Nurses' Association will be separate from the Union leave provided in (a) above.

  • TRAINING AND EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT 9.1 The Employer and the Union recognize the value and benefit of education and training designed to enhance an employee’s ability to perform their job duties. Training and employee development opportunities will be provided to employees in accordance with college/district policies and available resources.

  • Security Awareness and Training ServiceNow maintains a security awareness program that includes appropriate training of ServiceNow personnel on the Security Program. Training is conducted at time of hire and periodically throughout employment at ServiceNow.

  • Security Awareness Training 1. The Contractor’s employees, Subcontractors/Vendors, and volunteers handling confidential, sensitive and/or personal identifying information must complete the required CDA Security Awareness Training module located at xxxxx://xxx.xxxxx.xx.xxx/ProgramsProviders/#Resources within thirty (30) days of the start date of the Contract/Agreement, within thirty (30) days of the start date of any new employee, Subcontractor, Vendor or volunteer’s employment and annually thereafter.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction.

  • EMPLOYER AND UNION TO ACQUAINT NEW EMPLOYEES (a) At the time of hire new employees will be advised that a collective agreement is in effect and of the conditions of employment set out in the articles dealing with Union Security and Dues Check-off.

  • New Employee Orientations The County shall provide the Union written notice of County-wide new employee orientations, whether in person or online, at least ten (10) business days prior to the orientation. The notice shall include time, date, and location of the orientation. Representatives of the Union shall be permitted to meet with the new employees for up to thirty (30) minutes during a portion of the orientation for which attendance is mandatory. The Union shall provide the County at least five (5) business days prior to the orientation any materials it would like the County to distribute to new employees at the orientation. If the Union staff are unavailable, the County shall grant release time for one (1) union xxxxxxx to attend the orientation pursuant to Section 6.2.1 The County shall make best efforts to provide the Union with the name, job title, department, work location, work, home and personal cellular telephone numbers, personal email addresses, and home addresses of all employees in the bargaining unit every 90 days, but no less than once every 120 days.

  • LABOUR MANAGEMENT BARGAINING RELATIONS 9.1 No employee or group of employees shall undertake to represent the Association at meetings with the Employer without the authority of the President or the General Secretary acting on behalf of the Association.
