Trafficking Victims Protection Act. The Contractor certifies that it will not perform nor will it allow its employees to perform the following acts covered by the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000, as amended (22 U.S.C. § 7104(g)):

A resulting contract may be unilaterally terminated immediately by County for Consultant’s violating this provision, without penalty.

Trafficking Victims Protection Act. Contractor will comply with the requirements of Section 106(g) of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) of 2000, as amended (22 U.S.C. 7104) which prohibits grant award recipients or a sub-recipient from awarding funds to a private entity or individual who has (1) engaged in severe forms of trafficking in persons during the period of time that the award is in effect; (2) procured a commercial sex act during the period of time that the award is in effect; (3) used forced labor in the performance of the award or subawards under the award; or (4) engaged in acts that directly support or advance trafficking in persons as set forth in 22 U.S.C. § 7104(g)(4). Contractor shall inform County immediately upon receipt of any information from any source alleging a violation of a prohibition of the TVPA. Violation of this clause, may result in termination of this Agreement. Contractor will comply with all applicable requirements (including requirements to report allegations) pertaining to prohibited conduct related to the trafficking of persons, whether on the part of recipients, subrecipients (subgrantees), or individuals defined (for purposes of this condition) as "employees" of the recipient or of any subrecipient. The details of the recipient's obligations related to prohibited conduct related to trafficking in persons are posted on the OVW web site at xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxxx.xxx/ovw/award-conditions (Award Condition: Prohibited conduct by recipients and subrecipients related to trafficking in persons (including reporting requirements and OVW authority to terminate award)), and are incorporated by reference here.
