The Occupational Health and Safety. Act shall be followed regarding inspections of the physical condition of the workplace. Time off with pay and without loss of credits will be allowed in order to complete the inspections and the necessary documentation.

The Occupational Health and Safety. Act recognizes that a worker has the right to refuse to perform work when they have reason to believe that the work is likely to endanger the worker or another worker. Employees shall not be subject to penalties, dismissal, discipline, intimidation, coercion or be suspended for acting in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act. The Employer shall not take any reprisal against a worker who has exercised their right of refusal.

The Occupational Health and Safety. Committee shall be notified of each accident or injury and may investigate and make recommendations as appropriate. Recommendations will be reported to the relevant personnel and supervisor.
