Non-Regular Faculty Members Clause Samples

The 'Non-Regular Faculty Members' clause defines the status and terms of employment for faculty who do not hold regular, tenure-track, or permanent positions within an institution. This clause typically outlines the categories of such faculty—such as adjuncts, visiting professors, or lecturers—and specifies their rights, responsibilities, and limitations, including contract duration, eligibility for benefits, and participation in governance. Its core function is to clearly distinguish non-regular faculty from regular faculty, ensuring transparency in employment terms and preventing misunderstandings regarding job security and institutional obligations.
