The Employment Period. Except as otherwise provided herein, the Employment Period will commence on the Effective Date and will continue thereafter until terminated as provided in this Paragraph 4 (the “Employment Period”).
The Employment Period. The “Employment Period,” as used in the Agreement, shall mean the period beginning as of the date hereof and terminating on the last day of the calendar month in which the first of the following occurs:
a) the death of the Executive;
b) the disability of the Executive as determined in accordance with Paragraph 4 hereof and subject to the provisions thereof;
c) the termination of the Executive’s employment by the Company for cause in accordance with Paragraph 5 hereof; or
d) December 31, 2010; provided, however, that, unless sooner terminated as otherwise provided herein, the Employment Period shall automatically be extended for one or more twelve (12) month periods beyond the then scheduled expiration date thereof unless between the 18th and 12th month preceding such scheduled expiration date either the Company or the Executive gives the other written notice of its or his election not to have the Employment Period so extended.
The Employment Period. The "Employment Period," as used in the Agreement, shall mean the period beginning as of the date hereof and terminating on the last day of the calendar month in which the first of the following occurs:
(a) the death of the Executive;
(b) the disability of the Executive as determined in accordance with Paragraph 4 hereof and subject to the provisions thereof;
(c) the termination of the Executive's employment by the Company for cause in accordance with Paragraph 5 hereof; or
(d) August 31, 2008; provided, however, that, unless sooner terminated as otherwise provided herein, the Employment Period shall automatically be extended for one or more twelve (12) month periods beyond the then scheduled expiration date thereof unless between the 12th and 6th month preceding such scheduled expiration date either the Company or the Executive gives the other written notice of its or his election not to have the Employment Period so extended. In consideration of the undertakings given by the Executive in Paragraphs 7 and 8, if the Company gives notice of non-renewal, the Executive will be entitled to receive the lump-sum payments described in Paragraph 6(a) and 6(b) below (and otherwise in accordance with the terms of Paragraph 6) at the end of the Employment Period. For the avoidance of doubt, if the Executive gives notice of non-renewal, the Executive shall not be entitled to such payments.
The Employment Period. The "Employment Period", as used in the Agreement, shall mean the period beginning as of the date hereof and terminating on the last day of the calendar month in which the first of the following occurs:
a) the death of the Executive;
b) the disability of the Executive as determined in accordance with Paragraph 4 hereof and subject to the provisions thereof;
c) the termination of the Executive's employment by the Company for cause in accordance with Paragraph 5 hereof; or
d) January 31, 2006; provided, however, that, if either the Company or the Executive does not give the other at least twelve months notice of its intention to permit this Agreement to expire on the then scheduled termination date of the Employment Period (unless sooner terminated as otherwise provided herein), the Employment Period shall automatically be extended for one or more additional twelve month periods beyond the then scheduled expiration date thereof.
The Employment Period. Except as otherwise provided herein, the Employment Period will commence on the Effective Date and will continue at least until the first to occur of: (i) February 21, 2016; provided, however, that the Board, in its discretion but subject to your approval, may extend this date until a later mutually agreed-upon date; (ii) your death; (iii) PolyOne’s termination of your employment on account of your Disability; (iv) a voluntary termination of your employment by you (including your retirement); (v) an involuntary termination of your employment by PolyOne for Serious Cause (as defined below); (vi) an involuntary termination of your employment by PolyOne without Serious Cause (as defined below); or (vii) you terminate for “Good Reason” (as defined below) (the “Employment Period”).
The Employment Period. The “Employment Period”, as used in the Agreement, shall mean the period beginning as of the date hereof and terminating on the last day of the calendar month in which the first of the following occurs:
a) the death of the Executive;
b) the disability of the Executive as determined in accordance with Paragraph 4 hereof and subject to the provisions thereof;
c) the termination of the Executive’s employment by the Company for cause in accordance with Paragraph 5 hereof;
d) the termination of the Executive’s employment by the Company without cause in accordance with Paragraph 7 hereof or a termination of employment by the Executive pursuant to Paragraph 1(b) hereof entitling the Executive to the benefits described in Paragraph 7 hereof;
e) the voluntary termination of employment by the Executive; or
f) December 31, 2009.

a) the death of the Executive;
b) the disability of the Executive as determined in accordance with Paragraph 4 hereof and subject to the provisions thereof;
c) the termination of the Executive's employment by the Company for cause in accordance with Paragraph 5 hereof; or
d) September 1, 2000; provided, however, that, if the Company does not give the Executive at least twelve months notice of its intention to permit this Agreement to expire on September 1, 2000 (unless sooner terminated as otherwise provided herein), the Employment Period shall automatically be extended for one or more months beyond the scheduled expiration date thereof to give the Executive the benefit of twelve months notice of termination.

a) the death of the Executive;

d) November 1, 2004; provided that, either the Company or the Executive may terminate the Employment Period prior to such scheduled expiration date by giving the other written notice of its or her election to do so and specifying the earlier termination date, which must be at least 90 days after the date of such notice.
The Employment Period. 4.1 The employment period shall be 2 (two) years, beginning from the date on which this Agreement is signed (hereinafter, "THE EMPLOYMENT PERIOD"). At the end of the two-year period the Agreement period shall be renewed automatically for an additional two years, and so on, subject to the contents of Section 4.2 below (each additional employment period shall be called, hereinafter, "THE EXTENDED EMPLOYMENT PERIOD").
4.2 The Company and the Consultant may (each one separately) terminate this Agreement via advance written notification to be sent to the other party at least 180 days prior to the end of the Employment Period or the Extended Employment Period, as relevant. To remove all doubt, the right to terminate this Agreement shall apply to each party, as stated, only at the end of the first two years, such that in any event, the Agreement period shall not end before two years from the date on which this Agreement is signed.
