Taxes on Rent. In addition to Tenant’s Share of Increased Taxes, the Tenant shall pay to the appropriate agency any sales, excise and other tax (not including, however, the Landlord’s income taxes) levied, imposed or assessed by the State of Maryland or any political subdivision thereof or other taxing authority upon any Rent payable hereunder. The Tenant shall also pay, prior to the time the same shall become delinquent or payable with penalty, all taxes imposed on Tenant’s inventory, furniture, trade fixtures, apparatus, equipment, leasehold improvements installed by the Tenant or by the Landlord on behalf of the Tenant and any other property of the Tenant.

Taxes on Rent. The Rent provided for in this Lease is exclusive of any sales or other tax or charge upon, based upon or measured by rents payable to Landlord hereunder, or any tax or other charge based upon or measured by the number of employees of Tenant, or any other tax that is not currently in effect. If during the Lease Term any such tax or other charge becomes payable by Landlord to any governmental authority, the Rent hereunder shall be deemed increased by such amount upon thirty (30) days' written notice by Landlord to Tenant. The foregoing does not apply to federal, state or local income, gross receipts, inheritance, gift, succession or franchise taxes payable by Landlord.

Taxes on Rent. Tenant shall pay all sales, use, and excise taxes levied, assessed, or payable on all amounts payable under this Lease (which taxes shall be paid to Landlord along with each monthly installment of rent), or on, or on account of, the leasing of the Premises to Tenant.

Taxes on Rent. Tenant shall pay monthly to Landlord any sales, use, or other tax (excluding state and federal income tax) now or hereafter imposed by the United States of America, the State in which the Premises are located, or any political subdivision of them, on any form of Rent due under this Lease, or in substitution for any Rent, notwithstanding the fact that the law imposing the tax may endeavor to impose it on Landlord.
Taxes on Rent. If, at any time during the Term of this Lease under the laws of the United States Government, the State of Oregon, or any political subdivision thereof in which the Premises are located, a tax or excise on rent, or any other tax however described, is levied or assessed by any such political body against Landlord on account of rent payable to Landlord hereunder, such tax or excise shall be considered for the purpose of this Lease a real property tax payable by Tenant. If real estate taxes are withdrawn in whole or in part and any substitute tax is made therefor, such tax shall in any event for the purpose of the Lease be considered real property tax, a proportionate share of which shall be paid by Tenant, regardless of the source from which it is collected. Nothing in this Section 9 is intended to require Tenant to pay any income, franchise, or excess profits tax of Landlord.
