SURPLUS PROCESS. 20.01 When a school experiences a surplus in teaching staff, the least senior teacher (as defined in Article 18.02) in the school will be declared surplus, provided the remaining teachers have sufficient qualifications according to Regulation 298. Curriculum Chairs are not exempt from being declared surplus. At the point of determining surplus teachers to a school, and prior to issuing of surplus notices, any Curriculum Chair vacancies that arise shall be posted to the system, interviewed and awarded.

SURPLUS PROCESS. For purposes of working through a staffing reduction, in a school, in the event of a projected enrolment decline or staffing allocation decline at a school, the DECE(s)/EA(s) with the lowest seniority at the school will be identified surplus by the dates outlined in (a) above. When there is more than one employee in a school location, whose position is eliminated, the most junior DECE/EA on the Bargaining Unit seniority list working in that location, shall be the employee declared surplus. Members who have been deemed to be surplus shall be so advised by their supervisor and;

  • Recall Process A. If employees are to be rehired, the Board shall determine the number of the positions to be filled and the number of employees to be recalled. If rehiring takes place within one year, then the employee shall be rehired within area of certification in inverse order of reduction.

Step 1: If a grievant is not satisfied with the resolution proposed at the informal level, s/he may within fourteen (14) days after the supervisor's response was due file a formal written grievance with his/her manager on a form provided by the County Personnel Office containing a statement describing the grievance, the section of this Agreement allegedly violated, and remedy requested. The manager (or designee) shall, within seven (7) days have a meeting with the grievant and within seven (7) days thereafter give a written answer to the grievant.

  • Layoff Process Layoff of bargaining unit members is an undesired outcome of an extremely harsh and unforgiving economic reality. Prior to the declaration of retrenchment or a financial exigency, the following process will be employed:

  • Complaints Process The School shall establish and adhere to a process for resolving public complaints which shall include an opportunity for complainants to be heard. The final administrative appeal shall be heard by the School's Governing Board, except where the complaint pertains to a possible violation of any law or term under this Contract. The complaints process shall be readily accessible from the School’s website, as described in Section 11.4.1.

  • Evaluation Process A. The immediate supervisor will meet with an employee at the start of the employee’s probationary, trial services, transition, and annual review period to discuss performance expectations. The employee will receive copies of their performance expectations as well as notification of any modifications made during the review period. Employee work performance will be evaluated during probationary, trial service and transition review periods and at least annually thereafter. Notification will be given to a probationary or trial service employee whose work performance is determined to be unsatisfactory.

  • TRANSACTION PROCESS The RFQ for this Lot will contain a deliverable-based Statement of Work (SOW). The RFQ will include, but is not limited to: Authorized User timeframes; system integration requirements; and other risks that may affect the cost to the Authorized User. All responses to RFQs must include detailed price information, including but not limited to: hours required per title, cost per hour etc. Travel, lodging and per diem costs must be itemized in the total quote and may not exceed the rates in the NYS OSC Travel Policy.   • DUE PROCESS PROCEEDINGS CONTRACTOR shall fully participate in special education due process proceedings including mediations and hearings, as requested by XXX. Participation further includes the willingness to make CONTRACTOR’s staff available for witness preparation and testimony as is necessary to facilitate a due process hearing. CONTRACTOR shall also fully participate in the investigation and provision of documentation related to any complaint filed with the State of California, the Office of Civil Rights, or any other state and/or federal governmental body or agency. Full participation shall include, but in no way be limited to, cooperating with LEA representatives to provide complete answers raised by any investigator and/or the immediate provision of any and all documentation that pertains to the operation of CONTRACTOR’s program and/or the implementation of a particular student’s IEP/Individual and Family Service Plan (“IFSP”).

  • Appeals Process A. The Contractor’s appeal process shall, at a minimum:

  • Grievance Process In the event of any dispute arising in connection with any part of this clause, such a dispute shall be processed in accordance with the dispute settling provisions of this Agreement.
