Standing Building Committee. A Standing Building Committee for the purposes of this section of the contract, is a building-level group of certified staff members, assigned by the building principal to conduct planning, implementation, assessment, research, development or outreach for a specific purpose determined by the administration. In general, a Standing Building Committee and its membership will be designated at the start of the school year by the building principal and reported to the Superintendent. A Standing Building Committee is a committee that is expected to meet on multiple occasions throughout the school year. No certified staff member will receive additional compensation for serving on any committee during the regular school hours, nor be required to serve on a Standing Building Committee outside the regular school day. Each school year, each school principal will be notified by the superintendent of his/her budget for Standing Building Committee meetings held outside the school day. Certified staff shall be compensated at a rate of $10 per half-hour or $20 per hour, for taking part in such committee meetings. No compensation will be provided for serving on a district-level committee (Academics is Priority #1, Technology, PERA, etc.) that certified staff attend either voluntarily or are required to attend based on recommendations or directions from their Teachers’ Association.

  • Standing Committee Standing Committees shall be maintained in the following manner:

  • Standing Committees A. The parties agree to participate in collaborative committee work structured as follows to improve workplace conditions, including but not limited to insurance, supplemental salary options (Article 7.2), professional development (LPDC) (Article 6.11(F)), Master Teacher, Association/ Administration Council, evaluation (OTES), career lattice, calendar (Article 8.1) and any and all other contractual issues.

  • Operating Committee the Consortium’s managing body, composed of representatives of the Manager and the Contractors, pursuant to Annex XI.

  • Staffing Committee A. Responsibilities. The Nurse Staffing Committee (“NSC”) shall be responsible for determining the Institute’s staffing plan and resolving complaints raised by nurses regarding the implementation of the plan as well as those activities required of it under RCW 70.41, et seq and its successors.

  • Hospital-Association Committee (a) There shall be a Hospital-Association Committee comprised of representatives of the Hospital, one of whom shall be the Chief Nursing Officer or designate and of the Association, one of whom shall be the Bargaining Unit President or designate. The number of representatives is set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions and the membership of the Committee may be expanded by mutual agreement.

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Management Board 6.1 The Management Board is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the Integrated Service. Its functions and terms of references are set out in Schedule 3 Part I to this Agreement.

  • Nurse Representatives & Grievance Committee (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize Association representatives to be elected or appointed from amongst nurses in the bargaining unit for the purpose of dealing with Association business as provided in this Collective Agreement. The number of representatives and the areas which they represent are set out in the Appendix of Local Provisions.

  • Management Committee The Members shall act collectively through meetings as a "committee of the whole," which is hereby named the "Management Committee." The Management Committee shall conduct its affairs in accordance with the following provisions and the other provisions of this Agreement:

  • Insurance Committee An Insurance Committee comprised of three (3) representatives selected by the Superintendent and three (3) representatives selected by Okeechobee County Education Association #1604 shall be established to review and make recommendations regarding the health insurance program. The Committee shall meet at least quarterly and may meet more frequently as needed. Notwithstanding the above, any anticipated changes to the hospitalization and health insurance program which would result in a program less than equivalent to the existing program shall be subject to negotiations.
