Special Event Planning. If a state or Urban Area will be hosting a special event (e.g., Super Bowl, G-8 Summit), the special event planning should be considered as a training or exercise activity for the purpose of the multi-year TEP. States must include all confirmed or planned special events in the Multi-year TEP. The state or Urban Area may plan to use HSGP or UASI funding to finance training and exercise activities in preparation for those events. States and Urban Areas should also consider exercises at major venues (e.g., arenas, convention centers) that focus on evacuations, communications, and command and control.

Special Event Planning. If a Urban Area will be hosting an upcoming special event (e.g., Super Bowl, G-8 Summit); they anticipate participating in a Tier 2 National-Level Exercise as defined by the National Exercise Program Implementation Plan (NEP I-Plan); or they anticipate that they will apply to be a venue for a Tier 1 National-Level Exercise, as defined by the I-Plan, they should plan to use SHSP or UASI funding to finance training and exercise activities in preparation for that event. States and Urban Areas should also consider exercises at major venues (e.g., arenas, convention centers) that focus on evacuations, communications, and command and control. States should also anticipate participating in at least one Regional Exercise annually. States must include all confirmed or planned special events in the Multi-year Training and Exercise Plan. Exercise Evaluation. All exercises will be performance-based and evaluated. An After-Action Report/Improvement Plan (AAR/IP) must be prepared and submitted to FDEM, following every exercise, regardless of type or scope. AAR/IPs must conform to the HSEEP format, should capture objective data pertaining to exercise conduct, and must be developed based on information gathered through Exercise Evaluation Guides (EEGs) found in HSEEP Volume IV. All applicants are encouraged to use the Lessons Learned Information Sharing System (XXXX.xxx) as a source for lessons learned and to exchange best practices.

Related to Special Event Planning

  • Special Events During the Term of the Agreement, the Concessionaire may schedule events for dates up to 12 months after the Agreement’s end date. For all events scheduled during the 12-month post-agreement period, the Concessionaire will provide a copy of the original event contract to the Department. All special event contracts for events after the Agreement’s end date must provide notice that the contract may be assigned to another concessionaire at the Department’s request. The Department may either issue a permit authorizing the Concessionaire to fulfill these event obligations or require the Concessionaire to assign the contracts and deposits to another concessionaire. In the event of a cancellation, the Concessionaire will not pursue or accept a replacement date or event, unless the Department’s Agreement Manager gives written pre-approval. After the Agreement’s end date, the Concessionaire will not schedule any additional events or reschedule existing events.

  • Additional Event of Suspension Section 4.01. Pursuant to Section 6.02 (l) of the General Conditions, the following additional event is specified, namely, that a situation has arisen which shall make it improbable that the Program, or a significant part thereof, will be carried out.

  • Political Event A Political Event shall mean one or more of the following acts or events by or on account of any Government Instrumentality:

If the Affected Party is not able to make such a transfer it will give notice to the other party to that effect within such 20 day period, whereupon the other party may effect such a transfer within 30 days after the notice is given under Section 6(b)(i). Any such transfer by a party under this Section 6(b)(ii) will be subject to and conditional upon the prior written consent of the other party, which consent will not be withheld if such other party's policies in effect at such time would permit it to enter into transactions with the transferee on the terms proposed.

  • Incident Event and Communications Management a. Incident Management/Notification of Breach - Transfer Agent shall develop, implement and maintain an incident response plan that specifies actions to be taken when Transfer Agent or one of its subcontractors suspects or detects that a party has gained material unauthorized access to Fund Data or systems or applications containing any Fund Data (the “Response Plan”). Such Response Plan shall include the following:

  • Special Event Redemption Subject to the Company having received prior regulatory approval, if then required under applicable capital guidelines or regulatory policies, if a Special Event has occurred and is continuing, then, notwithstanding Section 3.3, the Company shall have the right upon not less than 30 days nor more than 60 days notice to the holders of the Debentures to redeem the Debentures, in whole but not in part, for cash within 180 days following the occurrence of such Special Event (the "180-Day Period") at a redemption price equal to 100% of the principal amount to be redeemed plus any accrued and unpaid interest thereon to the date of such redemption (the "Redemption Price"), provided that if at the time there is available to the Company the opportunity to eliminate, within the 180-Day Period, a Tax Event by taking some ministerial action (a "Ministerial Action"), such as filing a form or making an election, or pursuing some other similar reasonable measure which has no adverse effect on the Company, the Trust or the holders of the Trust Securities issued by the Trust, the Company shall pursue such Ministerial Action in lieu of redemption, and, provided further, that the Company shall have no right to redeem the Debentures while the Trust is pursuing any Ministerial Action pursuant to its obligations under the Trust Agreement. The Redemption Price shall be paid prior to 12:00 noon, New York time, on the date of such redemption or such earlier time as the Company determines, provided that the Company shall deposit with the Trustee an amount sufficient to pay the Redemption Price by 10:00 a.m., New York time, on the date such Redemption Price is to be paid.
