A unit member shall earn an additional Floating Holiday if they do not use any sick days within a 12-month period. Such earned time must be used on any non-student day within the following school year or it will be forfeited. The timeline for the Attendance Bonus shall be July 1 to June 30 of each year. An exception shall be extended to those members who use their sick leave for bereavement purposes. In such cases, members will be held harmless and considered eligible for the Attendance Floating Holiday.
