Sex Offenders Section 2250 of Title 18, United States Code, makes it a federal offense for sex offenders required to register pursuant to the Sex Offender Registration and Notification Act (SORNA), to knowingly fail to register or update a registration as required. State convicted sex offenders may also be prosecuted under this statute if the sex offender knowingly fails to register or update a registration as required, and engages in interstate travel, foreign travel, or enters, leaves, or resides on an Indian reservation. A sex offender who fails to properly register may face fines and up to ten (10) years in prison. Furthermore, if a sex offender knowingly fails to update or register as required and commits a violent federal crime, he or she may face up to thirty (30) years in prison under this statute. CRIMINAL OFFENCES 8.1 The Licensee acknowledges that the use of XXXXX’s Repertoire without the required licence constitutes an infringement of copyright and is an offence in terms of the Copyright Act 98 of 1978, punishable by a fine and/or imprisonment.
Sexual Harassment (a) The Union and the Employer recognize the right of employees to work in an environment free from sexual harassment. The Employer shall take such actions as are necessary respecting an employee engaging in sexual harassment.
Workplace Violence (a) It is recognized that at certain worksites or in certain work situations employees may be at risk of physical violence or verbal abuse from clients, persons in care or custody, or the public.
Assaults An employee who is assaulted while in the performance of assigned duties shall promptly report the assault to the Employer. The Employer shall promptly investigate the incident and render such assistance as necessary under the circumstances, including reporting and cooperating with law enforcement authorities.
Harassment in the Workplace The Union and the Employer recognize the right of employees to work in an environment free from personal and sexual harassment ("Harassment"), and the Employer shall take such actions as are necessary respecting an employee engaging in harassment in the workplace.
Sex Offender Registry Pursuant to law, information about specified registered sex offenders is made available to the public. Tenant understands and agrees that they are solely responsible for obtaining any and all information contained in the state or national sex offender registry for the area surrounding the Premises, which can be obtained online or from the local sheriff’s department or other appropriate law enforcement officials. Depending on an offender’s criminal history, this information will include either the address at which the offender resides or the community of residence and zip code in which he or she resides.
