Common use of Seniority Credit Clause in Contracts

Seniority Credit. For purposes of applying the increase and decrease in force procedures of this Agreement, determining vacation entitlement, exercising shift preference and for other purposes not directly related to determination of rights or entitlements under any negotiated benefit plan, seniority (accumulated length of service) is defined as follows for employees transferring from an ES location into the union and who will become covered by this Agreement:

Seniority Credit. ‌ For purposes of applying the increase and decrease in force procedures of this Agreement, determining vacation entitlement, exercising shift preference and for other purposes not directly related to determination of rights or entitlements under any negotiated benefit plan, seniority (accumulated length of service) is defined as follows for employees transferring from an ES MS location into the union and who will become covered by this Agreement:
