Seniority Retention. Laid off employees shall retain their seniority accumulated up to the time of layoff as follows:
Seniority Retention. (a) A laid-off employee shall retain his seniority and recall rights with the Company for twelve (12) months after the date of lay-off.
Seniority Retention. Employees in the bargaining unit who accept positions which are outside of the bargaining unit shall continue to accrue bargaining unit seniority for a maximum of six (6) months.
Seniority Retention. (a) A laid-off employee shall retain his seniority and recall rights with the Company for the following periods: Period of Seniority Less than 12 months 6 months retention 12 months and over 12 months retention 60 months and over 24 months retention
Seniority Retention. (a) It is agreed between the parties hereto that seniority shall be retained and accumulated on the following basis:
Seniority Retention. Seniority shall be retained by employees on lay-off for a period of six (6) months. In addition, employees with more than six (6) years of service seniority will retain their seniority rights for a period of time equal to one (1) additional month for each year of service over six (6) years. However, employees can only accrue seniority rights to a maximum total of twelve (12) months.
Seniority Retention. Teachers recalled to duty shall retain their seniority numbers, accumulated sick leave, salary schedule placement rights, and all other rights covered by this Agreement.
Seniority Retention. If a laid-off employee is called back to work with the Company within his right to recall period, there shall be deemed to have been no break in such an employee's continuous service with the Company by reason of such layoff.
Seniority Retention. A laid-off employee shall retain seniority and recall rights with the Company in accordance with the following:
Seniority Retention. An employee whose employment has not been terminated by resignation or discharge, and whose seniority has not been lost under Section 7.5, will retain, but not accrue, seniority in these cases: (a) on leave of absence other than one specified in Section 7.5 so long as he/she complies with the conditions of such leave; (b) for one hundred and eighty (180) days on promotion or assignment to a position not covered by this Agreement; notwithstanding the above, any police officer who promotes to a sergeant's position subsequent to January 1, 1985, shall not accrue PO bargaining unit seniority while in a higher rank in the department but shall retain all PO seniority accrued to the date of promotion. A dispatcher that is reappointed to the position of a police officer will retain their dispatch seniority for up to one year from the date of reappointment, conditional upon not successfully completing their police officer probationary period.
