Common use of Seniority and Benefit Accumulation Clause in Contracts

Seniority and Benefit Accumulation. An employee shall retain and continue to accumulate seniority while on all approved leaves of absence, unless otherwise specifically provided; and insurance, vacation and sick leave shall not accrue, continue, or be paid during any leave of absence in excess of thirty (30) calendar days unless otherwise specifically provided for in this Agreement. There shall be no duplication or pyramiding of leave benefits or types of absence.
