Required General Liability Insurance. Consistent with the terms and provisions of Exhibit “C,” Town of Addison Contractor Insurance Requirements, Consultant shall maintain, at no expense to Town, a general liability insurance policy with a company that maintains a minimum rating of “A” by A.M. Best’s Key Rating Guide, or other equivalent rating service(s), authorized to transact business in the State of Texas, in an amount not less than One Million and 00/100 Dollars ($1,000,000.00) for each occurrence, and Two Million and 00/100 Dollars ($2,000,000.00) in the aggregate. Such policy shall name the Town, its officers, agents, representatives, and employees as additional insured as to all applicable coverage. Such policy shall provide for a waiver of subrogation against the Town for injuries, including death, property damage, or any other loss to the extent that same is covered by the proceeds of the insurance. Consultant shall provide written notice to Town at least thirty (30) days prior to cancellation, non-renewal, or material modification of any policies, or ten (10) days for non-payment of premium, evidenced by return receipt or United States Certified Mail. Consultant shall furnish Town with certificates evidencing such coverage prior to commencing work on the Project.

Best’s Key Rating Guide, or other equivalent rating service(s), and is authorized to transact business in the State of Texas, in an amount not less than One Million and 00/100 Dollars ($1,000,000.00) for each occurrence, and Two Million and 00/100 Dollars ($2,000,000.00) in the aggregate.   • General Liability Insurance The Contractor must secure and maintain Commercial General Liability Insurance, including bodily injury, property damage, products, personal and advertising injury, and completed operations. This insurance must provide coverage for all claims that may arise from performance of the Contract or completed operations, whether by the Contractor or anyone directly or indirectly employed by the Contractor. Such insurance must include the State of Florida as an additional insured for the entire length of the resulting contract. The Contractor is responsible for determining the minimum limits of liability necessary to provide reasonable financial protections to the Contractor and the State of Florida under the resulting contract.

As clarification, “The People of the State of New York” means the State of New York and its subsidiary governmental entities. This is the name in which the State, as a governmental entity, enters into contracts, takes title to property, and initiates legal actions. Using the term “People” does not mean that the insurer is insuring all residents of New York State; rather, it means that the State government is being insured.

  • Commercial General Liability Insurance Policy Provide a Commercial General Liability Insurance Policy, including contractual liability, in adequate quantity to protect against legal liability arising out of contract activity but no less than $1,000,000 per occurrence.
