Additional Insured. For the Commercial General Liability Insurance,Comprehensive Business Automobile Liability Insurance, and Garage Liability Insurance required below, the Contractor shall cause to be included in each of its policies ISO form CG 20 10 11 85 (or a form or forms that provide equivalent coverage, such as the combination of CG 20 10 04 13 and CG 20 37 04 13), form CA 20 48 10 13 (or a form or forms that provide equivalent coverage), and form CA 00 05 (or a form or forms that provide equivalent coverage) naming as additional insureds: The People of the State of New York, the New York State Office of General Services, any entity authorized by law or regulation to use the Contract and their officers, agents, and employees. An Additional Insured Endorsement evidencing such coverage shall be provided to OGS after renewal and/or upon request. A blanket Additional Insured Endorsement evidencing such coverage is also acceptable. For Contractors who are self-insured, Contractor shall be obligated to defend and indemnify the above-named additional insureds with respect to Commercial General Liability, Comprehensive Business Automobile Liability, and Garage Liability Insurance in the same manner that Contractor would have been required to pursuant to this section had Contractor obtained such insurance policies. As clarification, “The People of the State of New York” means the State of New York and its subsidiary governmental entities. This is the name in which the State, as a governmental entity, enters into contracts, takes title to property, and initiates legal actions. Using the term “People” does not mean that the insurer is insuring all residents of New York State; rather, it means that the State government is being insured.
Additional Insured. An Additional Insured endorsement shall be provided to Sponsor naming Sponsor as additional insured under the commercial general liability policy.
Additional Insured. The insurance coverage, except workerscompensation and professional liability, required by this Contract, shall name City, its agents, representatives, directors, officials, and employees, as additional insured, and shall specify that insurance afforded Consultant shall be primary insurance, and that any self insured retention and/or insurance coverage carried by City or its employees shall be excess coverage, and not contributory coverage to that provided by Consultant. This provision and the naming of the City as an additional insured shall in no way be construed as giving rise to responsibility or liability of the City for applicable deductible amounts under such policy(s).
Additional Insured. Provider shall have its insurance policies endorsed to provide: “The Board of Education of the City of Chicago, a body politic and corporate, and its members, employees, and agents, and any other entity as may be designated by the Board are named as additional insured on a primary basis without recourse or right of contribution from the Board.” The insurance company, or its representative, shall submit an insurance certificate evidencing all coverage as required hereunder and indicating the Additional Insured status as required above. The Board will not pay Provider for any Products or Services if satisfactory proof of insurance is not provided by Provider prior to the performance of any Services. The receipt of any certificate does not constitute agreement by the Board that the insurance requirements in this Agreement have been fully met or that the insurance policies indicated on the certificate are in compliance with the Agreement requirements. Provider’s failure to carry or document required insurance shall constitute an Event of Default. In the event Provider fails to fulfill the insurance requirements of this Agreement, the Board reserves the right to stop the Services until proper evidence of insurance is provided, or this Agreement may be terminated. Any deductibles or self-insured retentions on referenced insurance coverage must be borne by Provider. Any insurance or self-insurance programs maintained by the Board do not contribute with insurance provided by Provider under this Agreement. The coverages and limits furnished by Provider in no way limit Provider’s liabilities and responsibilities specified within this Agreement or by law. The required insurance is not limited by any limitations expressed in the indemnification language in this Agreement, if any, or any limitation that might be placed on the indemnity in this Agreement given as a matter of law. Additional Insured. The Commercial General Liability and Automobile Liability insurance required under this Contract must include an additional insured endorsement specifying the State of Oregon, its officers, employees and agents as Additional Insureds, including additional insured status with respect to liability arising out of ongoing operations and completed operations but only with respect to Contractor's activities to be performed under this Contract. The Additional Insured endorsement with respect to liability arising out of your ongoing operations must be on ISO Form CG 20 10 07 04 or equivalent and the Additional Insured endorsement with respect to completed operations must be on ISO form CG 20 37 04 13 or equivalent.
