RDO Lock Down Weekends and Christmas Shut down periods on Building and Construction. Sites Work shall not be preformed on V.B.I.A or building and construction sites on scheduled RDO or fixed long weekend or Christmas shutdown period as defined by the official building industry calendar unless agreement has been reached by the principle site contractor and crane company reaching agreement in special circumstances with their employees and the union seven (7) days prior to the scheduled RDO. This does not limit the right to schedule overtime on such RDO’s or fixed weekends in the case of general crane hire or an emergency in the building and construction industry. If employees are required to work on building and construction sites on RDO’S or fixed weekends the employee shall be entitled to the same penalty payments as the building and construction workers which are in addition to accrued entitlements, the employee shall be paid penalty rates and provisions as prescribed for Sunday work in the Award.

  • Construction Phase Services 3.1.1 – Basic Construction Services

  • PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES The Pre-Construction Phase shall be deemed to commence upon the date specified in a written Notice to Proceed with Pre-Construction Phase Services issued by Owner and shall continue through completion of the Construction Documents and procurement of all major Subcontractor agreements. Contractor is not entitled to reimbursement for any costs incurred for Pre-Construction Phase Services performed before issuance of the written Notice to Proceed. Pre-Construction Phase Services may overlap Construction Phase Services. Contractor shall perform the following Pre-Construction Phase Services:

  • Interconnection Facilities Engineering Procurement and Construction Interconnection Facilities, Network Upgrades, and Distribution Upgrades shall be studied, designed, and constructed pursuant to Good Utility Practice. Such studies, design and construction shall be based on the assumed accuracy and completeness of all technical information received by the Participating TO and the CAISO from the Interconnection Customer associated with interconnecting the Large Generating Facility.

  • Construction Period During the construction period, Redeveloper agrees to keep the construction area, including completed operations insured against loss or damage by fire, and such other risks, casualties, and hazards as are customarily covered by builders’ risk or extended coverage policies in an amount not less than the replacement value but allowing for reasonable coinsurance clauses and deductibles. In the event of any insured damage or destruction, Redeveloper agrees to use its good faith efforts to commence restoration of the Private Improvements to its prior condition within nine (9) months from the date of the damage or destruction, and shall diligently pursue the same to completion.
