Shutdown period definition

Shutdown period means the period of time commencing when a municipal waste combustor operator discontinues the feed of municipal solid waste to the combustor in order to cease operation.
Shutdown period. This period is defined as the period during which there is no ice surface in the arena and during which the full summer program is not in operation. During the shutdown period, all permanent full-time bargaining unit employees in the Recreation Department will be scheduled to work days from Monday to Friday inclusive. Where work is required to be performed outside these scheduled hours, the Recreation Facility Operator 3 will be assigned to such work, without any change to the work schedule, with the exception that the Recreation Facility Operator 3 will be given time off in lieu with pay at his regular straight hourly rate of pay, within the pay period and/or within the next forty (40) hour period. Shutdown period means the period commencing on the Shutdown Date and ending on the date the Startup Conditions have been satisfied.
