Provisional Service. 11.4.1 A provisional employee is an employee who is hired to fill a bargaining unit position without either having to take a qualifying Civil Service Examination or having taken the examination, is awaiting word as to whether he/she successfully passed it, such appointment being made because of the lack of sufficient names on any established Civil Service Eligibility List, no one on an established list desires the appointment, or no list exists. Such provisional employee has no legal right to the position he/she is filling and may be terminated at any time, except that he/she shall be eligible for all benefits of this Agreement that he/she is legally entitled to and the right to Union representation provided he is employed regularly for twenty (20) or more hours per week. Provisional employees shall be required to successfully complete the MPTC Academy in order to retain employment.

  • Additional Service 4.1 You shall be responsible to pay the Representative for the provision of a Service.

  • Optional Service EU Access is an optional service that may be offered by SAP. SAP shall provide the Cloud Service eligible for EU Access solely for production instances in accordance with this Section 9. Where EU Access is not expressly specified and agreed in the Order Form, this Section 9 shall not apply.

  • Professional Service Consultant agrees that all services and work performed under this agreement will be accomplished in a professional manner, in accordance with the accepted standards of Contractor’s profession.

  • Optional Services To the extent that the Fund elects to engage the Transfer Agent to provide the services listed below the Fund shall engage the Transfer Agent to provide such services upon terms and fees to be agreed upon by the parties:

  • Mail Service 1. The Union shall be authorized to use the Agency’s internal mail distribution system, and the electronic mail system (e-mail), to conduct Union business which is necessary for the effective representation of bargaining unit employees.

  • Universal service 1. Each Party has the right to define the kind of universal service obligations it wishes to maintain.

  • Educational Services Any service or supply for education, training or retraining services or testing including: special education, remedial education; cognitive remediation; wilderness/outdoor treatment, therapy or adventure programs (whether or not the program is part of a Residential Treatment facility or otherwise licensed institution); job training or job hardening programs; educational services and schooling or any such related or similar program including therapeutic programs within a school setting.

  • Transitional Services Contractor shall provide Transitional Services to offenders who are being released from a prison, an assessment/sanction center, prerelease center, or treatment center for up to the first 90 days of community supervision after release. A Probation and Parole Officer (PO) will determine the specific services to be provided to each offender based on the offender’s needs and individualized case plan as determined or developed by the State. The referring PO will complete an agreed upon referral form designating the services selected. Contractor will confirm availability of services, establish a start date, and return the referral form to the PO and the designated State staff.

  • Scope of Interconnection Service 1.3.1 The NYISO will provide Energy Resource Interconnection Service to Interconnection Customer at the Point of Interconnection.

  • Personal Services 1. Subject to the provisions of Articles 14, 16 and 17, salaries, wages and other similar remuneration or income derived by a resident of a Contracting State in respect of personal (including professional) services shall be taxable only in that State unless the services are rendered in the other Contracting State. If the services are so rendered, such remuneration or income as is derived therefrom may be taxed in that other State.
