Property Committee. Purpose: To ensure that the property, grounds and buildings are well maintained, protected against major risks, and, as appropriate, improved. Membership: Individuals with interest and knowledge of building maintenance, repair, protection and improvement. Responsibilities: • Develop annual budgets and long- term planning for building operations and renovations and to make recommendations on property improvements, major repairs or renovations. These will be submitted to the Council for view and approval and included in the annual Xxxxxxxxx Shared Ministry Budget as needed. • Undertake scheduled and needed maintenance and repairs to maintain optimum building performance; contract with and supervise non-volunteer labour within pre- approved budgets; • Ensure fire, safety, and other municipal property and building rules, regulations and codes are observed. • Ensure (in cooperation with the Co-Owners) replacement value insurance is in place for all buildings and contents. • Oversee facility rental contracts.

  • Joint Safety Committee (a) The Union and the Company shall cooperate in selecting one or more Safety Committees, which will meet at least once a month to consider all safety and occupational health problems.

  • Safety Committee 62.1 Where a Health and Safety Committee is established on a job in accordance with section 72 of the OHS Act, it shall include the Employer’s Site Safety Supervisor and the Health and Safety Representative/s.

  • Management Committee The Members shall act collectively through meetings as a "committee of the whole," which is hereby named the "Management Committee." The Management Committee shall conduct its affairs in accordance with the following provisions and the other provisions of this Agreement:

  • Insurance Committee An Insurance Committee comprised of three (3) representatives selected by the Superintendent and three (3) representatives selected by Okeechobee County Education Association #1604 shall be established to review and make recommendations regarding the health insurance program. The Committee shall meet at least quarterly and may meet more frequently as needed. Notwithstanding the above, any anticipated changes to the hospitalization and health insurance program which would result in a program less than equivalent to the existing program shall be subject to negotiations.

  • Health & Safety Committee The Employer agrees to establish a Health & Safety Committee for all employees of the company under the auspices of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA). The Committee shall be made up of an equal number (not less than one each) of non-bargaining unit and bargaining unit persons who have completed their probationary period. The Union has the right to appoint the members representing the bargaining unit. The Committee shall keep minutes of its meetings and post them in the shop. One copy will be forwarded to the Union office.

  • Safety Committees Joint employee-elected and Employer appointed safety committees shall be formed in accord with WISHA requirements and following University of Washington policy. The Union is entitled to representation on the University-wide or specific organizational or divisional committees where bargaining unit employees are working. Any department or unit committee also dealing with health and safety issues in work areas shall appropriately involve bargaining unit employees. Participation in safety and health committees, including meeting time, health and safety research, work on committee assignments, seminars, and classes will be considered time worked for all employees in accordance with University policy. Release time must be arranged with supervisors in advance. When the committee makes a recommendation that requires action or approval beyond its scope of authority, the Employer will communicate its disposition of the formal written recommendation within thirty (30) days.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour-Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply.

  • Study Committee The parties shall utilize the Benefits Advisory Committee, with equal membership by the State and the VSEA, for the purpose of reviewing all issues related to health care and prescription drugs, and recommending changes to the bargaining committees. The parties shall also establish a special study committee to evaluate the current health plans, and make recommendations to the bargaining committees of the State and employees for sustainable savings in the health care plans.
