Professional Meetings Attendance. The Assistant Principal is expected to attend appropriate professional meetings at the local and state levels, and, subject to prior Superintendent approval, at the national level. All reasonable expenses incurred shall be paid by the Board.

The Director is expected to attend appropriate professional meetings at the local and state levels, and, subject to prior approval of the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services, at the national level. All reasonable expenses incurred shall be paid by the Board in accordance with Board Policy.
Professional Meetings Attendance. Request for permission to attend professional meetings shall be approved or denied by the superintendent after recommendation by the supervisor. Requests involving funds can be approved only by the Board and must have prior approval. Such requests are considered separately on the merits of each case.
