Professional Conduct & Demeanor. Respect for and resolute honesty in dealing with those served, fellow Officers, supervisors, subordinates, property, weaponry and self is benchmark to the integrity bestowed by the commissioning of NJIT Police Officers. Only the utmost of dignity, humility with honor, concern for the position, post, commission and department and demonstrated aptitude in dealing with an atypical population demographic will be considered meritorious. Any instance of breach of this standard will be cause for disqualification for merit pay consideration. By way of illustration only, vulgar language, violation of any university or departmental regulation or protocol, theft of service or time, unauthorized action, arguing with a superior Officer, condoning poor conduct or misconduct from subordinates, excessive force (as defined and regulated by the law enforcement community and/or the law itself) and personal mingling (defined as engaging in conduct relegating the Sergeant’s professional law enforcement responsibilities to a subordinate position as compared to non-job related personal activity[ies]) with students or other university constituents will disqualify merit pay consideration.

  • Professional Conduct The Firm shall ensure compliance with all applicable standards of ethics and rules of professional responsibility, including the Florida Rules of Professional Conduct promulgated by the Florida Supreme Court for attorneys practicing in Florida (or similar standards applicable to attorneys practicing outside the State of Florida). Such standards include rules related to conflicts of interest and confidentiality that are intended to protect Citizens and Citizens’ information.‌‌

  • Ethical Conduct Seller's employees shall comply with the BorgWarner Supplier Code of Conduct articulated within the BorgWarner Supplier Manual. Compliance with these standards is a mandatory component of Buyer's purchase contracts worldwide and must also apply to Seller subcontractors. Both, the BorgWarner Supplier Code of Conduct and the BorgWarner Supplier Manual are incorporated by reference as part of the Purchase Order, are binding on the Seller, and Seller explicitly verifies to have read and accepted the BorgWarner Supplier Code of Conduct and the BorgWarner Supplier Manual.

  • Personal Conduct Executive agrees promptly and faithfully to comply with all present and future policies, requirements, directions, requests and rules and regulations of Company in connection with Company’s business. Executive further agrees to conform to all laws and regulations and not at any time to commit any act or become involved in any situation or occurrence tending to bring Company into public scandal, ridicule or which will reflect unfavorably on the reputation of Company.

  • Professional Conferences Professional conferences are those conferences sponsored by educational organizations, institutions of higher learning, and government and industry concerning teaching, learning and educational research. When a full-time or part-time faculty member’s attendance at a professional conference conflicts with his/her regular assignment, the faculty member must submit a request for attendance to the appropriate Xxxx, Director, or Supervisor. If granted, the attendance at the conference will be considered leave with pay, and a follow-up report of the conference shall be submitted to the appropriate Supervisor.

  • General Conduct The BSC has specific policies governing conduct in the units, including, but not limited to, assault, harassment, sexual harassment, host, alcohol, party and substance abuse policies. Member agrees to read and abide by these policies. Failure to follow BSC conduct policies will lead to a range of sanctions up to and including termination of this contract and BSC membership.

  • Scope of Professional Services 3.1 On the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement, COUNTY hereby engages CONTRACTOR to provide all labor, materials and equipment to complete the Project/Service in accordance with the Scope of Services, attached hereto and incorporated herein as Attachment A, as modified or clarified by Addendum(s) # , dated , attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference as Attachment B.
