Prior Authorization Services. Administrator will provide prior authorization services using utilization management standards and guidelines established pursuant to Section 5.2.1 above. In performing such prior authorization services, Administrator shall accept requests from providers, Members, authorized representatives, or pharmacies via telephone or fax or other mutually agreed upon technology, shall review and process such requests in accordance with these standards and guidelines.
