Common use of Preferential Seniority Clause in Contracts

Preferential Seniority. (a) Two (2) Local Union Officers, as advised by the Union, shall have top plant-wide seniority in case of lay-off and shall be retained by the Company on work they are willing and able to perform.

Preferential Seniority. (a) Two (2) Local Union Officers, as advised by namely, Plant Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Recording Secretary, Health and Safety Co-Chairperson, Chief Xxxxxxx and the Union, Grievance Committee shall have top plant-wide seniority in case of lay-off and shall be retained by the Company on work they are willing and able to perform.

(a) Two (2) Local Union Officers, as advised by the Unionnamely, President, Vice- President, Recording Secretary, Financial Secretary, Treasurer, and Chief Xxxxxxx shall have top plant-wide seniority in case of lay-off layoff and shall be retained by the Company on work they are willing and able to perform.

Preferential Seniority. (a) Two (2) Local Union Officers, as advised by the Unionnamely, President/Plant Chairperson, and one (1) Xxxxxxx shall have top plant-wide seniority in case of lay-off and shall be retained by the Company on work they are willing and able to perform.
