Overtime allowances. 6.1a Overtime work ordered by the employer shall be remunerated by the basic pay and an allowance. Part-time workers shall be deemed to be on overtime only after they have exceeded the daily working hours specified for full-time workers. As a rule, the allowance shall be 50% (fifty percent); overtime rendered between 8 pm and 6 am shall be remunerated by an allowance of 100% (hundred percent). Any overtime to be remunerated by an allowance of 100% (hundred percent) shall not be reduced by lump-sum remuneration agreements (all-in agreements, overtime lump-sum payments), with the exception of travel and driving times (Sections 21 f).

Overtime allowances. Entitlement Availability duty allowance A staff member who is placed on availability duty or continuous standby and who is at a level not greater than ANU Officer level 7 is entitled to the allowance specified below for each week (Sunday to Saturday inclusive) of availability duty. Where a staff member is placed on such duty for less than 1 week, the allowance will be calculated on the basis of one-seventh of the weekly allowance for each day of availability duty.   • Meal Allowances Employees assigned to be in travel status between the employee's temporary or permanent work station and a field assignment shall be reimbursed for the actual cost of meals including a reasonable gratuity. Employees must meet the following conditions to be eligible for meal reimbursement:

  • Travel time allowance All employees shall be paid an allowance (See Appendix A) for each day on which they present themselves for work. The allowance shall also be paid for rostered days off.

  • Overtime Premiums All time worked before or after the regularly established working day shall be considered overtime and be paid for at one hundred and fifty (150%) percent of the employee's pro- rated hourly rate for the first two (2) hours and double the employee's regular hourly rate for each hour worked thereafter.

  • Overtime Meal Allowance ‌ An employee who works two and one-half hours of overtime immediately before or following his/her scheduled hours of work shall receive a meal allowance of seven dollars. One-half hour with pay shall be allowed the employee in order that he/she may take a meal break either at or adjacent to his/her place of work.

  • Cleaning Allowance The University will pay for the cleaning of Department issued uniforms and necessary work clothing requiring cleaning worn by employees assigned to non-uniformed positions.
