Observations and Observation Conferences a. Non-permanent certificated employees shall be formally observed at least twice during the evaluation year. The first formal observation/conference will be held within the first forty-five (45) workdays of the school year. The second formal observation/conference will be held by February 15. One observation shall be scheduled and one or more formal observation(s) may be unscheduled.

Observations and Observation Conferences. The evaluating administrator shall conduct a minimum of two individual classroom observations of not less than thirty (30) minutes each. The evaluating administrator will provide a maximum window of time of five (5) instructional days in which each observation shall occur. If the observation does not occur within the specified time, the evaluating administrator must confer with the teacher and reschedule, observing the same notice time frame. Observations shall not be conducted on the day immediately following any extended break in the instructional calendar (whether scheduled or unexpected). Observation conferences must be held after each of the two observations and timely feedback shall be given to the Member following each of the observations. The evaluating administrator may suggest a third observation and conference prior to completing the written evaluation in order to provide additional time for improvement, but this must be approved by the Member. The Member also has the right to request a third observation and conference. The Member and evaluating administrator shall review and sign a Member observation form for each observation. A copy of each observation form must be given to the Member and kept in the Member's site personnel file.

  • Pre-Observation Conference The pre-observation conference shall be held for the purpose of setting instructional goal strategies. The purpose of the pre-observation conference shall be but not limited to discussing the employee's goals, and to discuss such matters as the professional activities to be observed, their content, objectives, strategies, and possible observable evidence to meet the scoring criteria.

  • Post-Observation Conference 1. The post-observation conference between the evaluator and teacher will be held no later than five (5) days after the formal observation.

  • Informal Observations 1. An informal observation is a documented observation that is not required to be pre-scheduled. Additional informal observations may be necessary to collect additional evidence.

  • Informal Observation Additional evaluation of employees may occur through informal observations by the Employer. It may not be necessary to reduce such evaluations to writing, and a verbal discussion between the Employer and the employee concerning the informal observations may suffice. If a written evaluation is deemed necessary, Procedures C and D as outlined above shall be followed.

  • Formal Observations 1. A minimum of two (2) formal observations shall be conducted to support the final summative evaluation. All formal observations shall last a minimum of thirty (30) consecutive minutes and will take place between September 15 and April 30. There will be a minimum of fifteen (15) work days between the first two (2) formal observations.

  • Formal Observation The instructional employee and the principal/administrator shall review using the mid-year Reflection Questions in the evaluation manual – Student Achievement Outcomes and make adjustments as needed to increase the likelihood of a positive goal outcome.

  • Observations The Evaluator’s first observation of the Educator should take place by November 15. Observations required by the Educator Plan should be completed by May 15th. The Evaluator may conduct additional observations after this date. The Evaluator is not required nor expected to review all the indicators in a rubric during an observation.

  • Construction Observation The Consultant shall make periodic on-site observations of the Project in accordance with Exhibit A. The purpose of the on-site observations will be to observe the progress and quality of the construction work being carried on to determine if the work is proceeding in accordance with the Construction Documents. Unless otherwise stated in Exhibit A, the Consultant shall not be required to make exhaustive or continuous on-site observations to check the quality or quantity of the work.

  • Communications and Operations Management a. Network Penetration Testing - Transfer Agent shall, on approximately an annual basis, contract with an independent third party to conduct a network penetration test on its network having access to or holding or containing Fund Data. Transfer Agent shall have a process to review and evaluate high risk findings resulting from this testing.

  • Professional Conferences Professional conferences are those conferences sponsored by educational organizations, institutions of higher learning, and government and industry concerning teaching, learning and educational research. Requests for attendance are submitted through the appropriate Xxxx, Director, or Supervisor, and forwarded to the President/Superintendent for approval at his/her sole discretion. A follow-up report of the conference shall be submitted to the appropriate Supervisor.
