Non-Work Activities. Except for the writing and submitting of a grievance involving a suspension or a discharge of an employee, the investigation and writing of grievances shall be done on non-work time. Further, in the event a Union xxxxxxx/representative’s presence is requested or required in a meeting involving discipline and such meeting is scheduled during regular duty hours, said employee shall not suffer any loss of pay while attending the hearing. In the event a grievance hearing, including arbitration, is scheduled during the grievant’ s regular duty hours, the grievant shall not suffer any loss of pay while attending the hearing.

Non-Work Activities. Neither the Board nor the Administration shall make regulations (or take disciplinary action) that attempt to govern an employee’s non-work related activities unless such activities interfere with the ability of the employee to appropriately perform his/her assigned duties and can do so without the disruption of the educational process.

The Software is not fault-tolerant and is not designed, manufactured or intended for use or resale as on-line control equipment in hazardous environments requiring fail-safe performance, such as in the operation of nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation or communication systems, air traffic control, direct life support machines, or weapons systems, in which the failure of the Software could lead directly to death, personal injury, or severe physical or environmental damage ("High Risk Activities"). Syncro and its suppliers specifically disclaim any express or implied warranty of fitness for High Risk Activities.

  • Other Activities/Renovations A. The Contractor acknowledges its responsibility to assure the Judicial Council’s quiet enjoyment of the Program and to provide the full service level of the Property for the Program, free from outside distractions, disturbances, and/or interruptions. The Contractor shall avoid assigning any rooms to the Judicial Council or the Attendees during the Program which are adjacent to or across from any group or activity that may generate noise or other distractions, such as construction or other conduct, sufficient to detract from quiet enjoyment of the Program on the Property.

  • Project Work PURCHASER shall complete the following projects in accordance with the specifications provided in Exhibits B, C, D, E, and F and written instructions from STATE.
