New Hire Wage Rates. For the first sixty (60) days of employment, newly hired employees in a non-­‐tipped job classification may be paid a new hire rate of $1.50 (One dollar fifty) per hour below the starting rate for their job classification. After sixty (60) days of employment, these employees may be paid $1.25 (One dollar twenty-­‐five) per hour below the starting rate for their job classification. After six (6) months of employment, these employees may be paid $1.00 (One dollar) per hour below the starting rate for their job classification. After one (1) year these employees may be paid .50c (Fifty cents) per hour below the starting rate for their job classification. After eighteen (18) months, these employees shall be paid the full classification rate. Once a new hire achieves full rate, they will receive the next general wage increase. Tipped employees shall be hired at the classification rate.

  • Wage Rates Contractor shall post a copy of the wage rates at the job site and shall pay the adopted prevailing wage rates as a minimum. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773 of the Labor Code of the State of California, the Board of Supervisors has obtained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work in this locality for each craft, classification, or type of xxxxxxx needed to execute this Contract from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations.
