NATIONAL HEALTH LEGISLATION. In the event that national health legislation is enacted during the three-year period commencing January 1, 1975, benefits and payments will be integrated so as to avoid duplication, and any savings resulting from such integration will be credited to the Special Account maintained in connection with the health and welfare plan or to the special fund referred to in Article VI (d), or will be apportioned between such Account and such fund, according to the source of such savings.

NATIONAL HEALTH LEGISLATION. In the event of enactment of National Health Legislation, the Employer shall not be obligated to provide benefits in the Employer’s health and welfare plans, dental care program, or vision care plan which duplicates benefits under such legislation.
NATIONAL HEALTH LEGISLATION. 24.01 In the event of the passage of Federal legislation, during the term of this Agreement, implementing a National Health Program, the Bnployer shall assume the entire cost thereof. If such National Health Program does not provide the same level of benefits then existing under the Local 555 Welfare Trust, the Employer shall continue to pay monthly contributions to the Local 555 Welfare Trust as will be sufficient to fund the difference in benefits. ARTICLE XXV - SEPARABILITY 25.01 Should any portion of the Agreement be adjudged by the court having ultimate jurisdiction to be in 19 violation of any State or Federal law, then such portions shall become null and void and the balance of this Agreement remain in effect. Both parties agree to immediately renegotiate any part of this Agreement found to be in such violation by the court, and to bring it into conformance therewith within sixty (60) days after notification, unless the time limit is extended by mutual agreement.
NATIONAL HEALTH LEGISLATION. In the event that national health legislation should be enacted, benefits provided under The Railroad Employees National Health and Welfare Plan, The Early Retirement Major Medical Benefit Plan, and The Railroad Employees National Dental Plan with respect to a type of expense which is a covered expense under such legislation will be integrated so as to avoid duplication, and the parties will agree upon the disposition of any resulting savings.

  • Applicable Legislation If and to the extent that any provision of this Agreement limits, qualifies or conflicts with a mandatory requirement of Applicable Legislation, the mandatory requirement will prevail.   • Impact of Legislation (a) The parties recognize and agree that they cannot be obligated or bound by any term, condition or provision, which would be contrary to any existing federal or provincial legislation or regulations passed pursuant thereto. In the event that any term, condition or provision, or part thereof, which is incorporated into this Agreement, whether by inadvertence, error or misunderstanding, is in fact or in law contrary to such federal or provincial legislation or regulation, then such term, condition or provision or part thereof, is void and of no effect.

  • Occupational Health and Safety Act The Employer, the Union and the employees agree to be bound by the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, S.N.S. 1996, c.7.

  • Implementation Legislation The Contracting Parties shall enact any legislation necessary to comply with, and give effect to, the terms of the Agreement.

  • Future Legislation In the event that any future legislation renders null and void or materially alters any provision of this Agreement, the remaining provisions shall remain in effect for the term of the Agreement, and the parties hereto shall negotiate a mutually agreeable provision to be substituted for the provision so rendered null and void or materially altered.

  • PROCEEDS OF CRIME LEGISLATION The Depositor acknowledges that the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act and Regulations apply to the operation of the Account and that the Financial Institution will, from time to time, request information from the Depositor to address the reporting, record-keeping, client identification, and ongoing monitoring requirements of that legislation. The Depositor agrees to abide by and comply with all such requests.

  • Occupational Safety and Health Acts Contractor(s) who perform any work under this contract shall fully comply with the provisions of the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 and any amendments thereto and regulations pursuant to the act. Any Contractor who fails to do so may be terminated for cause as set forth below.

  • Federal Occupational Safety and Health Law Contractor represents and warrants that all articles and services shall meet or exceed the safety standards established and promulgated under the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970, as amended (29 U.S.C. Chapter 15).

  • Federal Immigration and Nationality Act The contractor shall comply with all federal, state and local immigration laws and regulations relating to the immigration status of their employees during the term of the contract. Further, the contractor shall flow down this requirement to all subcontractors utilized during the term of the contract. The State shall retain the right to perform random audits of contractor and subcontractor records or to inspect papers of any employee thereof to ensure compliance. Should the State determine that the contractor and/or any subcontractors be found noncompliant, the State may pursue all remedies allowed by law, including, but not limited to; suspension of work, termination of the contract for default and suspension and/or debarment of the contractor.
