Mutilated, Destroyed, Lost or Stolen Debt Securities Sample Clauses
The 'Mutilated, Destroyed, Lost or Stolen Debt Securities' clause outlines the procedures for replacing debt securities that have been physically damaged, destroyed, lost, or stolen. Typically, the holder must provide satisfactory evidence of the loss or damage and may be required to furnish an indemnity or pay any associated costs before a replacement security is issued. This clause ensures that legitimate holders can recover their investment instruments in the event of unforeseen incidents, while also protecting the issuer from potential fraud or duplicate claims.
