Common use of Membership Dues Deduction Clause in Contracts

Membership Dues Deduction. 25 1. The District will deduct bargaining unit employee membership dues in the amounts 26 identified by the Association President and will transmit the monies to the Española- 28 District within thirty (30) days of submittal of a voluntary employee signed payroll 29 deduction authorization form submitted by the Association to the District’s Payroll 30 Office, once per month, within the last five (5) days of each month. The Association 31 and the employees shall hold the District harmless on any issue that may arise 32 regarding the deduction of membership dues.
