Meeting with Union representative. A union representative will be given one (1) hour with each new employee, without loss of pay, to acquaint such employee with the Union and its functions, during the first six (6) weeks of employment. It will be the responsibility of the Human Resources Department to inform the Chief Xxxxxxx whenever a new employee begins, within the first month of employment. Where it is possible, the union representative will meet with new employees in a group and not individually.
