Notice of Union Representative Visits. The Union shall inform the Company when any representative of the Union intends to visit the worksite for the purpose of conducting Union business. Such visits will not disrupt employees working without the supervisor/manager’s permission.

The Union shall provide reasonable notice to the Employer when the Senior Union Official or her/his designated representative intends to visit the Employer’s place of business for the purpose of conducting Union business. If possible, the Union shall specify the anticipated duration of the visit.

The Union shall specify the anticipated duration of the visit and obtain authorization from the Employer as to the appropriate time for such contact/visit in advance. Such authorization shall not be unreasonably withheld. The Union will attempt to limit all such contacts to non-working hours.

Personnel File An employee, or the Secretary-Business Manager of the Union, or his designated representative, with the written authority of the employee, shall be entitled to review the employee’s personnel file, in the office in which the file is normally kept, in order to facilitate the investigation of a grievance or an employee may review file for personal reference. The employee or the Secretary-BusinessManager of the Union, as the case may be, shall give the Employer seven (7) days’ notice prior to examining the file. The personnel file shall not be made public or be. shown to any other individual without the employee’s written consent, except in the proper operation of the Employer’s business (including the provision of employment references to other employers) for purposes of the proper of this agreement.
