LOCAL BOARD TERMS. Board members for Virginia Career Works - Northern shall be appointed for a 4-year term. Term limits will not apply for the Chief XXXX and the mandatory non-business seats. Any vacancy in the membership of the Board shall be filled in the same manner as the original appointment, and vacancies resulting from resignations or removal of mandatory members, as defined under the WIOA, shall be filled within 120 days pursuant to the requirements of the Commonwealth of Virginia, Virginia Community College System Policy #99-2 (Establishment of Local Workforce Investment Boards). The parties agree to follow all policies of the Virginia Community College System, the State Workforce Agency, and the Virginia Board of Workforce Development.

LOCAL BOARD TERMS. Initial staggered terms of two (2), three (3), or four (4) years shall be assigned to members by lottery. Subsequent terms for all members shall be four (4) years. No member shall serve for longer than two (2) four (4) year terms plus an initial term of three (3) years or less.

  • National Board Certification A teacher who receives or holds a valid National Board Certification will receive a five hundred dollar ($500.00) stipend in each year the certification is valid and the teacher is actively teaching in the area of certification.

  • Local      Committee The Hospital agrees to recognize a negotiating committee comprised of hospital employee representatives of the Union for the purpose of negotiating a renewal agreement (as set out in the Local Provisions Appendix). The Hospital agrees to pay members of the negotiating committee for straight time wages lost from their regularly scheduled working hours spent in direct negotiations for a renewal agreement, up to but not including arbitration. Nothing in this provision is intended to preclude the Union negotiating committee from having the assistance of any representatives of the Canadian Union of Public Employees when negotiating with the Hospital.

  • Committees 1. Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, the Committees shall convene in regular session once a year at the same time the Free Trade Commission convenes. When special circumstances arise, the Parties shall meet at any time upon agreement at the request of one Party. Regular sessions of the Committees shall be chaired successively by each Party. Other sessions of the Committee shall be chaired by the Party hosting the meeting. The sessions may be held by any technological means available to the Parties. 4. When necessary, the Committees created hereby shall consult with such other Committees as needed to address the issues they handle.

  • Procedures of the Joint Committee 1. For the proper implementation of this Agreement, the Joint Committee shall meet at an appropriate level whenever necessary upon request but at least once a year. Either Party may request a meeting be held.
