Leave Without Pay and Benefits. Each regular employee may request in writing a leave for personal matters, stating the reason shall be optional for the employee. Such leave, if approved, shall be without pay and benefits. The leave request must be submitted to the employee's immediate supervisor for his/her recommendation to the Superintendent. The Superintendent's approval or disapproval shall be final. The leave request procedure and form shall be determined by the Board and followed by the employee.
