Layoff or Carryover of Accumulated Vacation. 11 Notwithstanding any other provision of this agreement, an employee 12 subject to limited duration layoff in school based health may request payoff of some 13 or all of his or her accumulated vacation. Such request shall be made in writing to 14 the School Based Health Manager, the Department’s payroll manager and Payroll 15 Supervisor of the Department of Support Services within three (3) days after the 16 employee receives notice of limited duration layoff. In the absence of such notice, 17 vacation will be carried on the books over the summer unless the employee is 18 subsequently terminated or resigns. In such case, normal provisions relating to 19 vacation payoff shall apply.

  • Sick Leave Accumulation a. All unused days of sick leave at full pay for all employees, shall accumulate to a maximum of two hundred ten (210) days. Such sick leave benefits so accrued will be usable after the annual full days allowed, and prior to any half pay benefits.

If this is not accomplished on or before the last day of the fiscal year, the amount of vacation shall automatically be reduced to two hundred seventy-five (275) hours at the end of the fiscal year. Supervisors on a Military Leave under Appendix I shall earn vacation leave as though actually employed, without regard to the maximum accumulation set forth above. Vacation earned in excess of the maximum accumulation shall be taken within two (2) years of the date the supervisor returns from the Military Leave.

  • Accumulation of Sick Leave The unused portion of an Employee's sick leave shall accrue for her future benefit, up to a maximum of one hundred and thirty (130) days.
