JURY OR WITNESS DUTY PAY. .01 A member who is subpoenaed for jury or crown witness duty will receive for each day of absence thereof the difference between the member's regular pay computed at the member's base hourly rate and the amount of jury or witness fee received, provided that the member furnishes the Employer with a certificate of service signed by the Clerk of the Court showing the amount of jury or witness fee received.

  • Jury or Witness Duty An employee who is not a party to the action and who is absent in compliance with a summons for jury duty or a subpoena requiring the employee to appear in court as a witness shall be excused with pay for the period during which the employee is absent on scheduled days because of such jury service or court appearance. When an employee is excused from jury or witness duty for part of a day or for an entire day, the employee shall report to his or her supervisor in person or by telephone for an assignment.

  • Paid Jury or Court Witness Duty Leave The Employer shall grant leave of absence without loss of seniority to an Employee who serves as a juror or witness in any court. The Employer shall pay such an Employee the difference between normal earnings and the payment received for jury service or court witness, excluding payment for traveling, meals or other expenses.
