Common use of Jury and Witness Leave Clause in Contracts

Jury and Witness Leave. (a) An employee who is called for Jury Duty in a Court proceeding or is subpoenaed as a Crown witness shall be given time off work during the period of such duty. The employee shall suffer no loss of regular pay for the time so spent and any remuneration received by the employee during their regularly scheduled work hours for such duty shall be remitted to the Employer.
