Special Pay. The University may designate a position for special pay in the following circumstances:
Special Pay. Special payment, including standby, overtime, premium, and other special payments, shall be calculated in accordance with the applicable provisions of this Agreement.
Special Pay. The University may designate a position for special pay in the following circumstances:
19.15.1 When a unique configuration of work requires skills, duties, or working conditions beyond those typically required of comparable positions;
19.15.2 To alleviate employment problems such as recruitment and/or retention;
19.15.3 When failure to grant special pay could result in retention problems and seriously jeopardize University operations; and
19.15.4 To prevent salary inversion or compression problems with other classes in the same or related series which have been granted special pay.
Special Pay. (i) In supersession of Clause 11 of the Bipartite Settlement dated 2nd June 2005, with effect from 1st November 2007 and upto 30th April 2010, the Special Pay payable to the clerical staff and subordinate staff in banks other than State Bank of India shall be as mentioned under Part A (a), (b), (c) and (d) in Schedule II to this Settlement.
(ii) With effect from 1st May, 2010, posts attracting Special Pay in Clerical cadre as mentioned in Part A (a) of Schedule II to this agreement shall stand modified and members of clerical staff performing the said duties shall be treated as those assigned with duties of Single Window Operator „B‟. With effect from 1st May, 2010, posts attracting Special Pay in Subordinate cadre as mentioned in Part A (c) of Schedule II to this agreement shall stand modified and members of Subordinate Staff performing the said duties shall be assigned with the duties of Cash Peon/ Liftman, Cyclostyle Machine operator / Relieving Liftman according to their suitability.
(iii) With effect from 1st May, 2010, posts attracting Special Pay and Special Pay thereon shall be as provided in Part B of Schedule II to this Settlement.
(iv) With effect from 1st May, 2010, Clerical staff who are drawing Special Pay for posts mentioned in Part A (a) in Schedule II to this Settlement as on 30th April, 2010 shall continue to discharge the Special Pay duties as hitherto and as provided in Schedule III of Bipartite Settlement dated 2nd June, 2005. In addition, upon their re-designation as Single Window Operator „B‟ w.e.f. 1st May 2010 as provided in Clause (2) above, they shall also be liable to discharge the duties of Single Window Operator „B‟. W.e.f. 1st May 2010, Subordinate staff who are drawing Special Pay for posts mentioned in Part A (c) in Schedule II to this Settlement as on 30th April 2010 shall continue to discharge the Special Pay duties as hither to and as provided in Schedule III of Bipartite Settlement dated 2nd June 2005. In addition, w.e.f. 1st May 2010, they shall also be liable to discharge the duties of Cash Peon/ Liftman/ Relieving Liftman/ Cyclostyle Machine Operator according to their suitability.
(v) (a) With effect from 1st May 2010, all existing clerical staff who are not drawing any Special Pay as on 30th April 2010 shall be paid a Special Pay of Rs. 1000/- per month which shall be merged in their Basic Pay with effect from that date. Special Pay. (a) Contra Costa Trails and Roads and Trails Park Craft Specialists. Contra Costa Trails and Roads and Trails Park Craft Specialists shall possess a State of California Class A Driver’s License and shall receive a 5% pay differential. These positions shall not be eligible for any other Commercial Driver’s License Incentive Pay or Acting Driver Pay.
Special Pay. 1. This Section applies only to teachers employed for the 2003/2004 school year.
2. Any teacher who leaves the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Township Schools with thirteen (13) or more consecutive years of service to the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Township Schools shall receive, upon request, $10.00 per day for each day of accumulated sick leave. It is agreed that a teacher receiving regular severance may not receive pay pursuant to this special pay provision. Contractual or other leaves approved by the Board shall not interrupt consecutive years of service.
3. Any teacher who dies while in the service of this corporation shall have his/her beneficiary (beneficiaries), as listed on his/her Term Life Insurance Form, paid thirty-five dollars ($35.00) per day for unused sick days at the time of death.
Special Pay. Section 1. Any Bargaining Unit employee required to work a forty (40) or a thirty seven and one-half (37 ½) hour work week shall receive a six percent (6%) supplement to the base pay.
Section 2. Any officer under the rank of District Chief assigned as the Head of the Fire Prevention Bureau shall be known as Fire Marshal and shall be entitled to an additional $80.00 bi-weekly to his base pay.
Section 3. The following are the provisions for Specialty Pay for Protocol Certified EMTs and Paramedics:
Special Pay. The Contractor may be required to travel to and perform work within an area requiring Foreign-area Allowances such as Danger Pay, Hard-to-Fill Differential, Hardship Differential, and Imminent Danger Pay. Foreign-area Allowances will be provided IAW Department of State (DOS) guidelines.
Special Pay. Special Pay types within this Article will be paid based upon the identified qualifications and, when specified, must be designated by the Fire Chief or designee. Failure to maintain the qualifications will result in removal of the Special Pay retroactive to the date of disqualification. If an employee believes he/she is eligible to receive special pay, the employee must immediately file a written request with the Fire Chief or designee for the special pay. If approved, the employee shall only be eligible to receive special pay for the eligible time after the Fire Chief’s or designee’s approval. The special pay becomes effective in the first full pay period after approval.
