Initial Team Assignments. The Employer shall assign all employees to a team after employee facility and shift bid selections have been finalized. Except as otherwise provided herein, teams shall be established by utilizing the employee classification seniority list to the extent that it will not hinder the operational control, effectiveness, and efficiency of each involved shift. Team assignments shall be final and will not be changed except for good cause. A union representative shall be permitted to be present during the employee assignment of teams and to review the assignments. Subject to the foregoing, initial team assignments shall be made by placing the most senior employee at the top of a shift team, the next most senior employee shall be placed at the top of the opposite shift team, and so forth, until the teams for that shift are filled. Probationary employees shall be assigned at the direction of the Employer.

Except as otherwise provided herein, Teams shall be established by utilizing the employee classification seniority list to the extent that it will not hinder the operational control, effectiveness, gender requirement, and efficiency of each involved Team. The Employer shall also have the right to ensure adequate staffing of each gender are assigned to each Team at the main jail. Team assignments shall be final and will not be changed except for good cause. A union representative shall be permitted to be present during the employee assignment of Teams and to review the assignments. Subject to the foregoing, initial Team assignments shall be made by placing the most senior employee at the top of a shift Team. Probationary employees shall be assigned at the direction of the Employer.

  • Room Assignments A. The University draws students from many states, nations, races and religions. It will be the responsibility of each resident to respect the rights of all residents in university residence halls. Admission to Texas A&M University – Texarkana and any of its sponsored programs is open to qualified individuals regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or disability. Room and roommate assignments are made without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.

  • Room Assignment The Landlord will assign rooms in accordance with the current assignment practice set by Residence Services. The Landlord reserves the right to transfer or move Tenants when deemed necessary. Tenants failing to arrive within 48 hours of the specified move-in date, without informing Residence Services of the delay, will lose their room assignment.

  • Work Assignments Section 1. The Company shall determine whether to staff a position or fill a vacancy and the method or combination of methods it shall use for such purposes. In making this determination, the Company shall first give consideration to qualified laid off employees with applications on file in accordance with Article 14 Section 7 of this Agreement and then internal candidates prior to off-street applicants. All vacancies within the Bargaining Unit shall be posted (manually or electronically) in locations where Bargaining Unit employees regularly work. The posting shall include the title, wage range, and sufficient information regarding requirements and duties to adequately describe the vacancy. The vacancy shall remain posted for seven (7) calendar days which shall be spread between two (2) workweeks.

  • Shift Assignments When an opening occurs in a shift assignment in an appropriate work group at a location, preference shall be given to employees within the classification who possess the training, ability and any required special qualifications to perform the work required, on the basis of seniority. In the event that no employee desires a shift assignment, employees shall be selected in order of inverse seniority. This provision shall not apply to necessary training assignments. This provision shall not in itself alter the practice of rotating shifts where such practice presently exists. No employee who has a regular shift assignment on the effective date of the Agreement shall be involuntarily displaced from such shift assignment as a result of this Article.

  • SUBSEQUENT ASSIGNMENTS After the Effective Date, the Assignee shall have the right pursuant to Section 12.3.1 of the Credit Agreement to assign the rights which are assigned to the Assignee hereunder to any entity or person, provided that (i) any such subsequent assignment does not violate any of the terms and conditions of the Loan Documents or any law, rule, regulation, order, writ, judgment, injunction or decree and that any consent required under the terms of the Loan Documents has been obtained and (ii) unless the prior written consent of the Assignor is obtained, the Assignee is not thereby released from its obligations to the Assignor hereunder, if any remain unsatisfied, including, without limitation, its obligations under Sections 4, 5 and 8 hereof.

  • Teaching Assignments No employee shall be assigned to teach in a grade level and/or subject area not within the scope of his/her teaching certificate, except where a position within his/her certification is unavailable or when mutually agreed to by the affected employee and principal, or when determined necessary by the principal. Employees assigned to positions outside the scope of their certificates shall be assigned as soon as possible to positions for which they hold certification.

  • SUBLET/ASSIGNMENT The Lessee may not transfer or assign this Lease, or any right or interest hereunder or sublet said leased Premises or any part thereof without first obtaining the prior written consent and approval of the Lessor.

  • Employees on Long Term Supply Assignments Employees completing long term supply assignments may only access sick leave and short term disability leave in the fiscal year in which the allocation was provided. Any remaining allocation may be used in subsequent long term supply assignments, provided these occur within the same fiscal year. Employees employed in a Long Term Supply Assignment which is less than the ordinary period of employment for the position shall have their sick leave and short term disability allocations pro-rated accordingly. Where the length of the long term supply assignment is not known in advance, a projected length must be determined at the start of the assignment in order for the appropriate allocation of sick leave/short term disability leave to occur. If a change is made to the length of the assignment, an adjustment will be made to the allocation and applied retroactively.

  • ASSIGNMENTS AND SUBCONTRACTING Motorola may assign its rights or subcontract its obligations under this Agreement, or encumber or sell its rights in any Software, without prior notice to or consent of Licensee.
