FMLA Benefits. The Resident is entitled to benefits under the Hospital’s Family and Medical Leave of Absence Policy (“FMLA”), as may be amended from time to time. Other medical or personal unpaid leave may be granted with the approval of the Resident’s Program Director, consistent with ACGME’s and AOA’s regulations, as applicable, only after the Resident has exhausted all of his/her PTO benefits. Makeup time and/or repeat of training shall be determined by the Resident’s Program Director, consistent with ACGME and AOA regulation.

FMLA Benefits a. For FMLA leave purposes, existing health insurance benefits shall be maintained during the period of leave on the same basis as coverage would have been provided if the employee had been continuously employed during the leave.
FMLA Benefits. The employee shall be kept under any group insurance plan for the duration of the leave as stated in Article XXX Numbers C. and D. of the current negotiated contract.

  • Sick Benefits 15.01 Eligible employees will receive Short Term Disability Benefits in accordance with the terms and conditions outlined in the STD Plan Text, a copy of which has been supplied to the Union. The STD plan forms part of this Collective Agreement.

  • Layoff Benefits All rights to which a certificated employee was entitled at the time of his/her layoff including unused accumulated sick leave and credits toward leave eligibility will be restored to the certificated employee upon his/her return to active employment, and the certificated employee will be placed upon the proper step of the salary schedule for the certificated employee's current position according to the certificated employee's experience and education.
