CLASSROOM CONTROL. 1. The SPS shall support and uphold employees in their efforts to maintain a sound learning environment. Using professional judgment the employee shall request assistance if a student substantially disrupts the classroom environment and shall provide written information/requests for assistance as required. It shall be the responsibility of the appropriate administrator to provide assistance in an immediate or timely fashion consistent with the circumstances.
CLASSROOM CONTROL. 9.01 Efforts to deal with student behavior in schools are directed to a higher goal than control of conduct in classroom halls and grounds. That goal is the learning of adequate student self-direction and control within the framework of what society has defined as acceptable behavior. Effective classroom teaching is dependent upon teacher control of the classroom.
CLASSROOM CONTROL. The authority and effectiveness in the classroom shall be primarily the teacher's responsibility. The Board and Administration will give reasonable support and assistance to teachers with respect to the maintenance of control and discipline in the classroom. Whenever it appears that a particular pupil requires the attention of special counselors, social workers, alternative education placement, or law enforcement personnel, the teacher shall advise the principal in writing. Having been advised the principal will schedule a building team (teacher, social worker, principal, psychologist, etc.) meeting. The meeting will be held without undue delay.

CLASSROOM CONTROL. 1. SPS will support and uphold employees in their efforts to maintain a safe and welcoming environment in accordance with SPS Policies and SPS Student Rights and Responsibilities. Using professional judgment, the employee will request assistance if a student substantially disrupts the classroom environment and will provide written information/requests for assistance as required. Substantial disruption means significant interference with instruction, school operations or school activities, violent physical or verbal altercations between students, or a hostile environment that significantly interferes with a student’s education. It will be the responsibility of the appropriate administrator to provide assistance in an immediate or timely fashion consistent with the circumstances.
CLASSROOM CONTROL. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to make sure participates do not unduly disturb other activities in the facility and that no damage is done to the room or equipment. If problems persist, please contact the County to discuss.

CLASSROOM CONTROL. A teacher may send a student from class to a building principal/designee when the grossness of the offense, the persistence of the misbehavior, or the disruptive effect of the violation make the continued presence of the student in the classroom intolerable. In such cases the teacher will furnish the building principal/designee, as promptly as his teaching obligation will allow, full particulars of the incident in writing. The principal/designee will adjudicate the matter and inform the teacher of his/her decision, preferably in writing.
CLASSROOM CONTROL. A teacher may interrupt a class temporarily when the grossness of the offense of a student, the persistence of the misbehavior or disruptive effect of the violation make the continued presence of the student in the classroom intolerable. In such cases, the teacher shall summon the principal promptly while the teacher remains with the students. The teacher shall hold the student in detention until that particular class has ended; at which time the teacher will immediately make known to the principal those factors manifested in the child’s misbehavior.
CLASSROOM CONTROL. A teacher may temporarily excuse a student from class by referring the student to the principal's office when the grossness of the offense, the persistence of the misbehavior or the disruptive effect of the violation make the continued presence of the student in the classroom intolerable. At the time of such referral, the teacher shall notify the principal or his/her designee, of the student's offense, and the teacher shall furnish the principal, or his/her designee, as promptly as his or her teaching obligations will allow, full particulars of the incident in writing. At the time the student is returned to class, the teacher shall be notified of any actions taken by the principal. The principal, or his/her designee, shall set forth such actions in writing as soon as practicable.
