Extra Duty Runs. Extra duty runs shall be posted in the bus garage as they are given to the Bus Supervisor. These trips will be assigned on a rotational basis in the following manner. The transportation department supervisor and/or secretary shall notify the drivers by phone of any extra duty runs becoming available when it is their turn on the rotation list. Drivers will have 24 hours to accept or refuse an assignment. Upon acceptance or refusal, the supervisor or secretary may sign off on the rotation list for the driver. If a driver has an additional position in the district ( i.e. Paraprofessionals, Lunchroom Workers, etc.) he or she will not be able to sign up for any field trips that should become available that coincide with their daily position. If a driver has driven any extra-curricular sport for entire season and the team advances to the state playoff system, that driver may continue to drive that sport by requesting an unpaid leave from their daily position from their immediate daily position supervisor. After the 24 hour period is expired, or upon rejection by the driver whose turn it is in rotation, the trip will then be rotated down the Extra Duty Run seniority list, by the Transportation Secretary, to the next available senior employee, whereas the process will be initiated again. Any driver rejecting any trip in this process agrees to relinquish their turn in the rotation. Any sport listed under the extra duty assignment appendix shall be driven by a bargaining unit member. However, each August prior to the bid meeting, administration will determine whether boys and girls soccer, golf, bowling and cross country will be transported by the bargaining unit or utilize parent transportation based on the number of substitute drivers readily available for use when extra-curricular trips are occuring and the need to transport students home after school. The decision made in August will be in effect for the entire school year and be reconsidered annually.

  • Extra Duty A. All extra duty vacancies listed in Article 29 (except as provided in 7-8-C) shall be filled by MBUs, providing they meet the following criteria.

  • Light Duty Where the injured employee's treating physician authorized by the County recommends light-duty assignment, it will be the responsibility of the appointing authority to arrange suitable light duty. Department of Human Resources may provide staff technical assistance to find a suitable light-duty assignment, one which accommodates the particular restrictions provided by the treating physician.

  • Hazardous Duty Pay Employees who have consented and are required to perform asbestos work will continue to be eligible for a 50% work differential for time spent performing such duties. This differential shall be paid 1/10 hour increments, including time spent by the employee changing into and removing program specified clothing and equipment. Maryland Port employees who are currently covered under the $ 10.00 per hour, or 50% per hour of the hourly wage whichever is greater, chrome pay differential, will continue to receive differential. This provision will also cover any existing hazardous duty differential currently provided.

  • Night Duty 222. Employees shall be paid eight percent (8%) more than the base rate for each hour worked between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. if the employee works at least one (1) hour of his/her shift between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., except for those employees participating in an authorized flex-time program and who voluntarily work between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

  • JURY DUTY PAY All employees required to serve on jury duty shall be paid by the School District the difference between their regular pay and jury duty pay. In implementing this section, the School District shall continue to pay the employee the regular rate of pay and the employee shall be obligated upon receipt of the jury duty pay from the governmental agency to immediately remit any witness fees received to the School District less any mileage expenses. Absences under this section shall not be deducted from accumulated leave.

  • Client Money Handling Rules 16.1. The Company will promptly place any Client money it receives into one or more segregated account(s) with reliable financial institutions (i.e. an affiliate, a bank, a market, a settlement agent, a clearing house or OTC counterparty) and the Client funds will be segregated from the Company’s own money and cannot be used in the course of its business. The Client money shall be treated, at all times, in accordance with the applicable ‘Client Money’ rules, as amended from time to time.

  • Injured on Duty Pay An employee who, in the ordinary course of employment, while acting in a reasonable and prudent manner and in compliance with the established rules and procedures of the Appointing Authority, incurs a disabling injury stemming from the aggressive and/or intentional and overt act of a person, or which is incurred while attempting to apprehend or take into custody such person, shall receive compensation in an amount equal to the difference between the employee's regular rate of pay and benefits paid under Workers' Compensation, without deduction from the employee's accrued sick leave. Such compensation shall not exceed an amount equal to two hundred forty (240) times the employee's regular hourly rate of pay per disabling injury.

  • Transit Traffic The following rates will apply:

  • Special Duty Pay (A) High Work Differential. When an employee is required to perform work more than twenty (20) feet directly above the ground or water and use of safety ropes, scaffolds, boatswain chairs or other similar safety devices are required for support, the employee shall receive a high work differential. Rate: One dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour.
