Extra Duty. A. All extra duty vacancies listed in Article 29 (except as provided in 7-8-C) shall be filled by MBUs, providing they meet the following criteria.
Extra Duty. A. All extra duty activities and responsibilities for which no additional compensation is paid, but which are normally considered a part of the school's program, shall be on a voluntary basis only.
Extra Duty. Additional salary in excess of the scheduled salary may be paid to personnel who, due to the nature of their particular assignment, are required to give extra time, possess specialized training and acquire additional training. Personnel identified to receive such extra salary and the amount to be received will be recommended by the Superintendent of Schools subject to the approval of the Board of Education.
Extra Duty. (1) Any non field trip assignment generated from transportation department falling outside of route time and/or (2) A field trip assignment totaling one hour or less.
Extra Duty. Should the employee elect to take on the administration of an extra-curricular activity or other significant duties in addition to those in the job description, they shall be compensated a payment for the duration the employee has the extra duty that is mutually determined by the teacher and the principal.
Extra Duty. Teachers who are assigned extra-duty assignments which are designated for compensation shall be paid in accordance with the 2019-20 Extra Duty Salary Schedule which shall be attached as Appendix D to this Agreement.
Extra Duty. Extra duty shall be compensated according to The Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). ARTICLE SIXTEEN
Extra Duty. 1. The Board will hire lay supervisors for elementary lunch rooms and playgrounds during the lunch period.
Extra Duty. Bus drivers who take more than one run per day shall serve one-half (1/2) hour per day for each extra bus check out and cleaning. Duties include safety checks, operating checks, related reports and cleaning duties.
