Extended Personal Leave. 1. An extended leave for personal reasons, without pay, shall be granted to one (1) employee per year, provided application is made in writing by May 1st of the year prior to the beginning of such leave. Such leaves shall be for a period of one (1) school year (September 1st through June 30th). Employees granted this leave will not be considered again for this same leave.
