Employer Contribution Rates. A. Continuing July 1, 2018, the Employer's ongoing contribution towards the cost of medical, dental and vision health and welfare benefits per full time unit member shall be $1,316 per month, $15,792 per year. The unit member's share of the health and welfare benefit insurance premium shall be $259.30 per month (average), the difference between the cost of the health and welfare benefit plan package selected by the bargaining unit and the Employer's contribution. The bargaining unit has selected for full-time employees: NCSMIG-JPA Medical Oak Plan at $1,519.04 per month, $18,228.48 per year; Dental Plan D- 20 at $118.50 per month, $1,422.00 per year; and Vision Plan C5 at $20.36 per month, $244.32 per year; for a total annual health and welfare benefit premium of $ 19,894.80Part time employees may select any medical plan option in lieu of Oak and receive pro-rated Employer-paid contributions. All employees can purchase up to the Redwood medical plan at their option and contribution. For the 2019-2020 year only, the Employer shall pay the full-time unit member’s share of the health and welfare benefit premium for the NCSMIG JPA Oak Medical Plan, Dental Plan D-20, and Vision Plan C-5. The2019-20 employer contribution will be based on 2019-2020 JPA adjusted rates.

Starting July 1, 2021, the bargaining unit has selected for full-time employees the medical tiered rate plans through NCSMIG-JPA For the 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 school years, the Employer shall pay the full-time unit member’s share of the health and welfare benefit premium for the NCSMIG JPA Oak Tiered Medical Plan, Dental Plan D-20, and Vision Plan C- 5

Related to Employer Contribution Rates

  • Employer Contribution (a) An Employer contribution for health and dental benefits will only be made for each active employee who has at least eighty (80) paid regular hours in a month and who is eligible for medical insurance coverage, unless otherwise required by law.

This means:

  • Elective Deferrals An Employee will be eligible to become a Contributing Participant in the Plan (and thus be eligible to make Elective Deferrals) and receive Matching Contributions (including Qualified Matching Contributions, if applicable) after completing 1 (enter 0, 1 or any fraction less than 1) Years of Eligibility Service.

  • Maintaining Eligibility for Employer Contribution The employer's contribution continues as long as the employee remains on the payroll in an insurance eligible position. Employees who complete their regular school year assignment shall receive coverage through August 31.

  • Eligibility for Employer Contribution This section describes eligibility for an Employer Contribution toward the cost of coverage.

  • Employee Contributions Any member of the bargaining unit who is hired on or after September 1, 2010 is eligible to make a voluntary contribution to the City=s Deferred Compensation Plan offered by Ameritas.
