EMPLOYER ASSURANCES. Employer shall attest to the following “Employer Assurances” pertaining to its participation in and administration of the Training:
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES. 1. The Employer agrees to employ and compensate each Trainee at the wage rate specified for each position in Exhibit 1, and to implement the training plan developed by the Employer for each Trainee. The Employer shall submit each Trainee’s training description and plan to CareerSource NCFL for approval prior to the beginning date of this Contract. Upon approval by CareerSource NCFL, each training description and plan shall be incorporated into this Contract. The training descriptions and plans may be updated or added as needed throughout the term of this Contract by written notification to CareerSource NCFL and written approval by CareerSource NCFL, without the need for an amendment to this Contract. The training plans shall include competencies needed for each Trainee to (1) become satisfactorily skilled in an approved non-­‐ entry level position with Employer, and/or (2) achieve a career pathway with Employer, that provides a series of career options with the Employer allowing opportunities for career growth and upward career mobility.
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES. 1. EMPLOYER agrees to employ and train the participant referred by the OJT Provider in the skills necessary to become a regular full-time unsubsidized employee in the occupation specified in Exhibit “A” of this Agreement.
EMPLOYER ASSURANCES. Employer assures and certifies that: It will comply with the requirements of the WIOA, Public Law 105-220 as amended, regulations, policies, guidelines, circulars and field memorandum promulgated thereunder by the Department of Labor, the Commonwealth of Virginia, and such other body as may have authority over WIOA funds or programs. It will comply with Title VI and VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and in accordance with those titles, no person in the United States shall on the ground of race, ethnicity, color, sex, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program activity for which the applicant receives Federal financial assistance. It will not utilize OJT funds obtained under this Contract, nor engage, nor cause its employees, to engage in the conduct of political activities that violate the Hatch Act. No program or funding under WIOA will be used to assist, promote, or deter union organizing. No WIOA funds will be used to reimburse Employer for the cost of contributions on behalf of any participant to retirement systems or plans. No person with responsibilities under a WIOA-funded program will discriminate with respect to any program participant on the basis of race, age, marital status, disability, color, national origin, political affiliation, sex, or sexual orientation. NO person shall be discriminated against solely because of his or her status under this Contract.

  • TITLE VI ASSURANCES The requirements and terms of the United States Department of Transportation Title VI program, as revised from time to time, are incorporated into this Contract for all purposes. Engineer has reviewed Exhibit “J”, and shall comply with its terms and conditions.
