EMPLOYEES REQUIRED TO WORK IN INCLEMENT WEATHER. The Employer may only request that an Employee work in inclement weather in the event of an emergency or issue affecting health and safety on site. Employees are only obliged to perform such work as is essential to overcome the emergency and to restore an acceptable service and/ or to secure or make safe as circumstances require. Employees engaged on such work will be paid at the rate of double time. Where the Employer requires an Employee to work in inclement weather, the Employee will be reimbursed in full the cost of appropriate protective clothing, except where the Employer provides such protective clothing. If the Employee’s clothing becomes wet as a result of working in wet weather and they do not have a change of dry work clothes, they will be entitled, at the completion of the work, to cease work for the day without loss of pay. ENTITLEMENT TO PAYMENTS Should Employees be sent home or not required to attend work due to inclement weather, they shall be entitled to payment by their Employer for ordinary time lost for up to, but not more than, 32 hours in every period of 4 weeks.   • CONDITIONS FOR EMERGENCY/HURRICANE OR DISASTER - TERM CONTRACTS It is hereby made a part of this Invitation for Bids that before, during and after a public emergency, disaster, hurricane, flood, or other acts of God that Orange County shall require a “first priority” basis for goods and services. It is vital and imperative that the majority of citizens are protected from any emergency situation which threatens public health and safety, as determined by the County. Contractor agrees to rent/sell/lease all goods and services to the County or other governmental entities as opposed to a private citizen, on a first priority basis. The County expects to pay contractual prices for all goods or services required during an emergency situation. Contractor shall furnish a twenty-four (24) hour phone number in the event of such an emergency.

  • Mileage Measurement Where required, the mileage measurement for LIS rate elements is determined in the same manner as the mileage measurement for V&H methodology as outlined in NECA Tariff No. 4.

  • Corrective Measures If the Participating Generator fails to meet or maintain the requirements set forth in this Agreement and/or the CAISO Tariff, the CAISO shall be permitted to take any of the measures, contained or referenced in the CAISO Tariff, which the CAISO deems to be necessary to correct the situation.

  • Loop Testing/Trouble Reporting 2.1.6.1 TeleConex will be responsible for testing and isolating troubles on the Loops. TeleConex must test and isolate trouble to the BellSouth portion of a designed/non-designed unbundled Loop (e.g., UVL-SL2, UCL-D, UVL-SL1, UCL-ND, etc.) before reporting repair to the UNE Customer Wholesale Interconnection Network Services (CWINS) Center. Upon request from BellSouth at the time of the trouble report, TeleConex will be required to provide the results of the TeleConex test which indicate a problem on the BellSouth provided Loop.

  • BEREAVEMENT/TANGIHANGA LEAVE 15.1 The employer shall approve special bereavement leave on pay for an employee to discharge any obligation and/or to pay respects to a deceased person with whom the employee has had a close association. Such obligations may exist because of blood or family ties or because of particular cultural requirements such as attendance at all or part of a Tangihanga (or its equivalent). The length of time off shall be at the discretion of the employer.
